Relatively new place with management still in the balancing act regarding inventory selection. Nice bakery section with freshly baked bread, boregi, wraps and more. Lack of variety in the external supply of bread was a disappointment. Only basic Bazlama and Pita were available. Pogaca was in the frozen section. Simmit and Lavash were in-house bakery section. Why not get bake small quantities of Katmer, Fatir and Gozleme?

Took the beef boregi home and my better half immediately discerned that the quality of the in-house bakery was far superior to the popular frozen equivalent.

Actually, I went to see if Kurut was available. It was and I did buy a packet! Many thanks but where can I get Fatir a la Turkiye?

The coffee section was a disappointment but the dominant brand, of course, was present.

The frozen desserts were in abundance as were the regional fizzy varieties.

The butcher's handiwork was nicely displayed with marbling somewhat visible in the various cuts of beef. Would love to see some Bosporus Bass though.

In short, a nice neighborhood store for some and a specialty store for the rest of us when we are in the experiment mood. Most importantly, earnestly hope that management can survive the churn.

Very congested and long walks to the gates. Unfortunately most travellers have to use it for transfers. If you are visiting the EU you have better alternative choices for transit.

This airport, its traffic volume notwithstanding and operational efficiency with just two runways, is the best example why Atlantic crossings gave rise to the well funded Middle East airlines.

There was a warm dish filled with falafels yet at the request of one of our colleagues an order of 10 falafels was prepared freshly without a murmur. Ditto for chicken wings.

Modest place that covers the basic North Indian staples. Good for those wanting a quick takeaway on their way home.

The term Bistro is probably a nod to some socio-economic group but has no relevance to an authentic use of the term.

While the kids playground is good for a few minutes, the park itself has two other items - a brook and a seating area (to munch) adjacent to a basic fountain that elevate the senses in a minor way. Then there is inevitable clamor for the infants train ride which most parents will dutifully oblige (hopefully) at least once. In short, I like the place especially because it is out in the open (i.e. fresh air) rather inside an air-conditioned mall.
