Lovely paved park trail, connects Maxwell Drive and Moe Road. There is one porta potty on the Maxwell Drive side, at least as of November 2023. This is a perfect short walk for bikers and strollers wishing to avoid Rte 146. No playground, no water facilities. The path is lit at night.
This place is big - five stories big! It's definitely designed with younger children in mind, but my three children 11, 11, and 13 had a blast playing with all of the interactive experiences. There are traditional rooms with taxidermy animals from all over the globe, and then there are energy and motion rooms where you get to play around with ping pong balls and magnets.

There is a room sponsored by Wegmans involving healthy foods, a room about bugs, a room about the Earth - it's a lot 🤗 It probably won't impress jaded teenagers, but your younger children will stay here all day and then the next day too.

It seems worth it to buy the family membership if you have 5 people in your party, and even if you have four, it'll pay for itself in two visits.
This is a beautiful town park, with easy access trails, picnic tables, and lovely views of the Mohawk River. The trails are well-marked and maintained, this is perfect for small children. Don't expect a long walk though, there are not too many trails available.

There are parking spaces enough for about 10 cars, I can get busy on nice days. There are no other facilities, no restrooms, running water, or playground. It's just the hike and the views and the picnic table.
Be a ninja, be a princess! At this birthday party location you can be who you want, there's lots to dress up as, experience (pedicures, etc) and games to play. The staff do an excellent job and everything is high-quality. If course this means it's not the cheapest birthday party around, but it's definitely memorable. The location is hidden in a shopping center off Rte. 9, and it's only open by appointment, so you should call or email to talk with them about setting up a party. There's plenty of parking, and restrooms and changing rooms at the facility.
This is the start of a 9-mile flat, gravel packed, wide trail suitable for biking, strollers, and joggers that don't want any elevation change. It's a lovely trail that passes through wetlands and forests, although you will also encounter some backyards as well. It's impossible to get lost on this trail ☺️ Starting at the trailhead, the first three miles are hard-packed gravel and the rest is paved.

This is just a basic trail entrance. There are no facilities aside from the parking lot at the trailhead. There is no water, no restrooms, no playground, no picnic tables, and no benches. I'm not sure how far up you have to travel before there are any facilities at all on the trail.
