Japan-Restaurant Manyo
Since years I go from time to time to Manyo especially since it is one of the few real Japanese restaurants in the area.
The owner are great, they are always very nice and thoughtful as well as the service is always good. We had this time a menu and it was just delicious and fresh. Everthing is cooked freshly and you have the real Japanese flavour which is very importat and rare in Germany.
From the starters until the dessert event was tasty and I would totally recommend the place.

Royal Dragon
We went there for dinner some weeks ago since this restaurant is quite new and the pictures looked great.
First the interior: Super fancy, modern and nice. Totally reminded me of Asia and restaurants in Shanghai.
The service: was fast and nice just one we we did not like was that he told us how we really need to eat one dish because it was definitely wrong since we have been many times to Japan. But that's not really important.
The food: was okay. It definitely was Asian but not totally authentic and that's what was missing the most. The yaki udon has too much flavour of the sauce and reminded me not at all of real yaki udon. The Takoyaki were okay, just a bit too deep fried and I just like them more in the takoyaki pan than stir fried. The sushi was tasty but the mango was hard as well as the avocado was too hard. The uni sushi was really good, loved it.
Would I come back... I love Asian food and need to have some at least once per week. The place has a very cool vibe so maybe I might come back but there are better places in the city.

Went there for an early dinner with an reservation and it was great.
The service is very nice, fast and professionel and the interior of the place a great mix like French chic and purist, loved it.
The food was very good, authentic and fresh. We shared the foies gras pate, which was excellent and they always give you fresh new bread if you finished yours. As main we had the noodles with chicken and the beef tartar- very fresh and super big portions. Totally loved the taste of both dishes, since it had this slightly fresh not too have taste.
