Absolutely stunning gardens and house, a beautiful dog friendly walk around the grounds with so many gorgeous views. You can spend the day strolling the area finding so many lovely flowers, trees and awesome architecture. Nice couple of cafes to rest for a while and grab a coffee and snack. Would highly recommend when visiting North Wales.
Love this place, even though it is in-between North Anston and the A57 it feels like its a different world. Its mainly under the canopy of the trees and its paths follow the river with the ancient stones rising up to the sides, a great place to escape the direct heat of the sun under the leafy bowers and to walk with dogs in tow and to enjoy natures gift.
Great area for walking your dog, and for walking in general. Close to Shireoaks village which has a couple of shops. Also close to the chesterfield canal which makes for a great walk or cycling route.
Great views around the Worksop area.
