I had the pleasure of dining at La Pasta during my recent visit to Zurich, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. This quaint pasta shop nestled in the heart of the city captivated me with its warm ambiance and delectable menu.

I couldn’t resist trying their Bolognese, and I must say, it was a culinary masterpiece. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful, with generous portions of minced meat that satisfied my taste buds in every bite.

We also ordered their Vongole pasta. The dish exceeded my expectations with an abundant amount of fresh clams and a sauce that burst with delightful flavors, leaving me craving for more.

For those who appreciate the earthy richness of mushrooms, the Creamy Mushroom Pasta is an absolute must-try. The creaminess was well-balanced, allowing the natural essence of the mushrooms to shine through, making it a satisfying indulgence.

As a sweet conclusion to my meal, I savored their Crème Brûlée. The dessert was perfection, striking the ideal balance between sweetness and creaminess, leaving me with a lingering sense of satisfaction.

Beyond the outstanding culinary experience, I was equally impressed by the staff’s attentiveness and friendly demeanor. Their warm hospitality added an extra layer of joy to the dining experience.

Our visit to Rosengarten, perched atop a hill with a stunning garden in front, promised an enchanting experience. Although we couldn’t secure an outdoor seat without a reservation, the restaurant’s interior ambiance was still pleasant. After dinner, we ventured outside and were captivated by the awe-inspiring views of Bern city.

The mains we tried offered a mix of delightful surprises and mediocre outcomes.

The Pork Chops with Herbal Crust, accompanied by a luscious port wine jus, baby potatoes, and vegetables, stole the show. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender, and paired harmoniously with the rich and savory sauce. A definite must-try that left a lasting impression.

On the other hand, the Grilled Chicken Breast with Rocket Salad and Tomato-Bruschetta was somewhat lackluster. The meat was slightly tough, and the overall dish fell into the realm of mediocrity.

Similarly, the Seared Trout Fillet with Homemade Salsa Verde, Potatoes, and Vegetables left us with mixed feelings. The fish itself was fresh, but the salsa verde sauce might not be to everyone’s taste, making it an average choice.

For those who enjoy pasta dishes, the Basil Potato Gnocchi with Bocconicini-Mozzarella and Creamy Lemon Sauce offered a delectable treat. Its flavorsome combination and easy-to-eat nature make it another dish worth trying.

Without a doubt, the highlight of Rosengarten is the breathtaking view of Bern city from the restaurant’s surroundings. Taking a post-dinner walk outside to soak in the scenic beauty made the dining experience even more memorable.

In summary, Rosengarten’s ambiance and the heavenly Pork Chops with Herbal Crust make it a place worth visiting. While some dishes might fall into the average category, the overall experience, coupled with the restaurant’s beautiful setting, makes it a destination to cherish. Next time, I’ll make sure to book a table outdoors to fully embrace the enchanting views while savoring their outstanding dishes.

Amazing brunch place in Dundee. Went to try out based on a recommendation. Modern and chic interior which makes the whole experience even better. Another perfect place to have a small gathering among friends and family. Great variety of food in their menu from breakfast meals , toasts, burgers , finger food etc. sweet of savoury they have it all 😋 will certainly be back multiple times for meals!
