Cheers Bar and Grill

They sure have good security here. Security pats down every person entering the bar before allowing entry. Wow!
I love the décor here. Service can be a little slow when they get crowded and you might find yourself having to flag down the waitstaff especially if you're only ordering drinks and not food.
This venue is very small with only a single pool table. Non-signers might wanna sit out on the patio since inside gets extremely loud when the DJ is working.
Due to the distance from my home I will only be here when ASL Shindig happens here and not any other time. There's absolutely nothing on the street where I can lock up my bike so I'll always get here in an Uber unless my Deaf friends let me carpool with them.

I attended Goin' Native Butterfly Festival with my Deaf friends on 8/5/23. The park has a nicely paved walkway, plenty of green space, well-maintained picnic tables, and best of all is easily accessed by train as this park is right across the street from the SJC Metrolink station. The bike racks are shaped like pine cones, but are reliable.

I see how this park is coming together after it first started being built. I work nearby and pass by this park when I take certain routes home. I do like the width of the trails here. I'm glad the bathrooms have alarms that go off if someone's ever in there for 30+ minutes. There are two reliable bike racks near the bathroom close to Flight Way and Barranca Parkway. If Mess Hall had their own bike parking I'd use it, but since they don't I park here when picking up a restaurant meal there.
