Upon leaving the Diamond Head State Monument, we made a brief stop at the Kahala lookout point overlooking East Oahu. Vehicles heading to the crater must pass through the semi-dark Kahala Tunnel, which has alternate single-lane traffic regulated by traffic lights to allow pedestrians to walk through the only entrance to the state park.
A family-owned restaurant serving authentic Thai food. The service was not only prompt but also attentive.
I was excited to try out this Thai restaurant; however, I was met with disappointment. The quick seating was positive, but the bland coconut soup and pad woon sen, along with Paula, the server's lack of attention and the presence of a fly hovering over my food, were major drawbacks. It seems the restaurant has some areas to improve upon for a more enjoyable dining experience.
Art Alley

I stumbled upon this attraction while on a business trip. This super cool Art Alley was a hidden gem worth exploring. The alley was relatively small but showcased beautiful works of mural art.
Nothing to shout about, it’s just a little neighborhood Chinese cafe. I ordered the Chicken & Eggplant in Garlic Sauce dish, it was just okay. The server did not even check on my satisfaction although I was the only guest at that time. The ladies were too busy chatting among themselves. In addition, their ad about wine list was very misleading. There was no list nor menu, I was verbally offered red or white wines. Won’t be back.
