Just book it! THIS STAY WAS SOOOO REFRESHING. Brought me back to the “good old days” of Marriott’s exemplary service, cleanliness and class. This hotel is so classy and one-of-a-kind. From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service. We arrived just before 9 PM when the restaurants were all closing and they quickly got us to our room, got our bags unloaded and got us to the restaurant to get dinner before it was too late. I was overly impressed with the style and uniqueness of this hotel. It is top notch luxury. Well done.
This hotel is in traditional style and we really enjoyed it. Their room keys are still actual keys and the rooms have traditional style wood furniture but still had a modern cabin vibe. By the way, they have replica keys for purchase, very cute item to remind you of your trip. The bathroom was beautiful and room size was great.
Their breakfast was delicious and the staff here were all very kind. It is located right in the center of all the shops and restaurants and walking distance to everything.

Super nette Wirtsleut! Nachdem sich unsere Anreise stark verzögert hatte wurden wir dennoch herzlich begrüsst und fühlten uns sofort wie Daheim. Das Essen mega lecker und das Zimmer erfüllt alle Anforderungen. Absoluter Geheimtipp :) Wir kommen wieder !
This place is fantastic! Our only regret is not staying here the entire stay in Salzburg. The service of the staff was exquisite. Every employee was helpful, friendly, and informative and handled all of our needs. The room and accommodations were amazing with a lovely view. I will be staying at the Goldener Hirsch next time I visit Salzburg

My wife and I enjoyed three days in Salzburg in early September, 2023, and one of the highlights was our stay at the Goldener Hirsch. We had a delightful, spacious room across Getreidegasse from the main entrance to the hotel. The room amenities were many and much appreciated. Breakfast was superb! The buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and one could also order from the menu. And the staff was wonderful - friendly and professional, with lots of smiles and always offering to help or assist. Located along the famous shopping street, the hotel is within walking distance of all of old Salzburg, including many good restaurants. We highly recommend the Goldener Hirsch.
We've booked a room in the new part of hotel and it was very nice. Modern and clean. Very good breakfast. Great rooftop infinity pool with amazing mountain view. What a shame that wellness & pool section closes at 7pm, it would be nice to enjoy it later in the evening.
I simply loved everything about this hotel. My favorite in Vienna for sure! The location couldn’t be better. You are simply in the middle of everything! The rooms are so cozy and comfortable and they are very stylish. You can get amazing art deco vibes throughout the property. I tried the rooftop restaurant as well for breakfast and dinner and it was very good. The staff and the service is just sublime. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I return to Vienna. I highly recommend it.
Amazing! It's one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Everything was fine and elegant and at the highest level. Beautiful room with all great amenities. Service was fabulous. Great restaurant and breakfast. Also, there's a very good spa and rooftop bar. It's all one great package and the location is the best. In the heart of old town, where all the great things are. I'm coming back here for sure

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten wurde es besser. Spannend war die Ananas-Scheibe, Woche prominent auf mehreren Gerichten einfach dabei liegt. Die Speisen ersten aber sonst gut und frisch.

Absolutely stellar everything! The service, rooms, hospitality, and amenities were top notch. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. The staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. They even got us right into the cafe when we wanted to try the famous Sacher torte. The rooms was very comfortable with thoughtful accents and amenities. It was extremely quiet at night. Overall, one of the nicest, most high-end places I’ve ever stayed. We will be back!

Hotel Sacher Wien was an amazing experience. It effortlessly and seamlessly combines the grandeur of a historical establishment with the generous and authentic people making the experience exceptional. However what truly made the experience impeccable was the the staff. The team at Hotel Sacher Wien consistently delivers a great level of attention to detail and genuine care for their guest. The food was great, the location cannot be beat and the concierge was good. I will definitely be back! Remy, the bartender was a favorite of mine during the trip and very personable. The bell-man, (I hate that I forgot his name) was great, personable, always with a smile and made the stay amazing. I highly recommend Hotel Sacher Wien, truly a Viennese historical establishment.
The ambience is impeccable. There is a long queue to enter the cafe if you don't have a prior reservation . Though they make sure that you don't have to wait more than 15min for a table.
The coffee is good. The chocolate torte cake is their speciality but I found it to be too sweet to my liking.

The Rosewood Vienna is a great hotel. Nice, clean rooms that are well appointed. The location is excellent. You are right around the corner from the main downtown area in Vienna. The service is excellent. Amazing place. A+
We couldn't have been happier from the time we booked until the time we left. Phenomenal service all-around from when we checked-in, to the amazing breakfast we had each day, to the dinner we had, to the massage. The concierges were amazing and secured us tickets and dinner reservations as requested with a smile and when we couldn't get a cab, the house car took us. Also an amazing location and the suite we had was just glorious.
The hotel is located in a very convenient area, quiet but close to shops, restaurants, and pubs. Our room was big enough for 3 people and clean. The breakfast was good but they should have more variety during the week for people staying longer. Considering that they don't have a fitness centre, they should offer deals with the gyms nearby (e.g. day tickets at reduced price). Overall a good hotel!

I've stayed at some of the best hotels around the world. The Rosewood Vienna is up there with them. Specifically this location as I had forgotten I had even stayed at a Rosewood previously until I saw the room card!
Staff were very attentive and accommodating to my constant extension of my stay as I did not want to leave!
They set up a gorgeous bed with a toy the day my puppy arrived. Provided excellent concierge services and were very communicative - at the right moments.

And the SPA - I'm a spa snob, this one is tranquil, beautiful and there is no sense of having to rush out after your treatment. Lay out in the relaxation room and enjoy the view!

It was good and I also liked that famous cake. It is so delicious definitely recommend. While paying the bill, the middle-aged lady worker asked "would you like to give tip for the staff" I didn't know what to say. I think it's wrong to ask like that.

Went for dessert. The restaurant was charming and everything was reasonably priced. We got a table on the second floor and the dining room was beautiful. The first floor had tables around the dessert counter/bar and didn't look anything like the 2nd floor. So if you have a choice wait to be seated upstairs. We had the chocolate torte and apple strudel. None of us cared much for the chocolate torte, I'm not a chocolate lover, but I've had better chocolate cake for my preference. The apple strudel was fresh and enjoyable. Our drinks were good. Nothing blew me away but I would recommend stopping by for an overall nice dessert experience.

Fantastic stay and service. We had a lovely time during our first visit to Vienna, and the staff were so kind, personable and efficient. Our room was beautifully decorated and the perfect home for our three day stay. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough not just for how beautiful it is but also based on the location and the immaculate service. We look forward to returning again soon!
Great hotel with character, lovely staff, superb location in the Inner Stadt - ideal for walking to the main places of interest and restaurants. Close to all public transport with easy, quick (and cheap) travel to the airport. Great bedroom with own bathroom and aircon. This is a 3 star hotel...but I have stayed in many 5 star hotels that are not as good. Ideal hotel for a Vienna city break.

In a word..Fabulous! We could not fault anything during our eight day stay. Room was spacious, private, quiet and well appointed. We had a lovely little terrace off our room with table and chairs. The kitchen was brilliant with full size fridge and oven. There is a common laundry, it's free to wash, dry and iron. The staff are excellent, nothing is an issue, very helpful and accommodating. Trams are outside, food shop across the road with assorted cafes close by.

Loved this hotel. Not fancy but homey and inviting. All the staff are super nice and the breakfast that is included us absolutely amazing.
The hotel is nice and clean. We booked the economy room, so we had the shower across the hall and bathroom across the hall. It is private so that’s helpful. We’ve stayed in hostels so this was fine. Got questioned a couple of times by the staff if we were staying there when we went back to our rooms which was odd. Also the key and lock system were a bit difficult when you’re staying in the economy room (unlock leave and lock bedroom, unlock, go in to bathroom, lock, unlock, leave, lock bathroom; unlock go into bedroom, lock). Having to do this manually with a heavy key in the middle of the night wasn’t fun lol. Overall, it’s a nice hotel, pretty central to the city. And the price was reasonable for what you get. Esp since it includes breakfast.

Clean linen, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom! Quiet place!! near the tram stop 71 - to the center and around it! Two great grocery stores within 100 meters! Wonderful place, safety of a hotel with apartment convenience. I worry other hotels will disappoint in comparison. Stayed in the penthouse with kids, so much space with 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies, 3 bathrooms. Laundry in the basement. Kitchen was truly equipped, even had Tupperware. The only negative was we could have used some salt, pepper and sugar packets.
The rooms feel like they have been greatly cost optimized. Only one pillow, one blanket, toilet and bathroom are hidden in the closet. It's too bad nothing resembles on the inside that you are in a castle.

We spotted this amazing restaurant on the way back from a full day in Großglockner Alpine Road. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the grill trio and spinach parmesan dumplings. Everything was so good, we ate it in few minutes. Service was nice, our waiter was friendly and very helpful. Big addition was spectacular view of the mountains. We would definitely come back on our next trip to Austria.

Really nice hotel. Cozy rooms. Relaxing Spa included. Were allowed to order to our rooms, which was really nice with a toddler. Everything usefull within walking distance.

After an excursion in a cold, rainy and windy summer day, we stopped at the Baerenwirt. We are a big family with a big dog, and the reception was extremely friendly and warm, which is not frequent for big families with dogs. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, light wooden walls, and very friendly but not invasive service. Also our dog received attention, and we really felt well served and welcome. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and the homemade desserts were simply amazing - heaven on earth!

Cute spot near the Grossgluckner. Friendly staff. Quaint, super cute decor. Food was wonderful with generous portions. Everyone was happy with their meal. Vegetarian option on the menu - spinach and cheese dumplings with a sage and butter sauce was totally on point!!!
Friendly service and great carchoal BBQ Argentinian meat. The fish is also very nice. You need a reservation to get a table as it's pretty busy. Great selection of Spanish tapas as well. Overall great spanish/argetinian dining experience.
Hmm. Maybe if I drank alcohol I could experience the euphoria of the Andino Hotel shared by some other reviewers. Personally, I felt very let down. It's true there are lots of smiles from the staff, but honestly not much consideration for the guests behind them in the hotel policies. The place is super cute on the surface. The room itself was lovely but at $600 for one night I wasn't expecting the scratchy college dorm room cotton/elastin jersey sheet - or the unwelcome "wake up" at 8:00AM by the mini bar checker barging into the room despite the "do not disturb" sign being the door. She said someone must have turned it around... Really? That wouldn't be good either. I think they come and wake you up because although breakfast is served until 10:00 (where you will wait ten minutes for someone to finish replacing bowls at the buffet while you stand by), check out is also 10:00!!! A 10:00AM check out in my opinion is reserved for youth hostels and two star hotels, not four star hotels that charge five star rates. I shouldn’t forget to mention the bag of trash from other rooms right at our door at 9:50AM. Nothing says “please go soon” like someone else’s garbage showing you the way out. The Andino delivers three star service at best. On the bright side, the Al Fuego restaurant was excellent and it's easy to park underneath the hotel, if you have reserved a place in advance. That’s important because there is absolutely no one to help you with your bags, but there are a couple of self-service cart-things in the garage. Otherwise, there was a reason Andino was the only hotel in Sankt Anton with a room last minute for a Friday night. Shop early, shop elsewhere for a place to stay but definitely try the Al Fuego restaurant.

Very good dining place with an rare and exceptionally engaged staff that focuses on the good customer experience. Quality of food is between 4 and 5 stars. Selection of wine is between 3 and 4 stars. Recommendable for people who love delicious food in cosy atmosphere.
