Cute small place with a big reputation. A bit oily for me but delicious. Had pain aux resins, a slice of their special dessert and hot chocolate

I loved the cozy vibe of this space. It was a pretty small cafe, two tables but I was able to get seating as most people came for take outs. The Koiugn Amann was so yummy!

I really appreciated that the staff were so nice and patient to speak French slowly to me as they could tell I was trying to practice 😅

It would've been a shame if they didn't do their namesake justice...but they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Excellent Kouign Amann with a crispy sweet exterior and flaky buttery interior. Would've loved to also try their croissants but they sell out quick!

8 years ago I stumbled into this Cafe accidentally and had one of the best desserts I had ever eaten. Now 8 years later I had the pleasure of eating it again. Nowhere else I have tried kouign amann comes close to the pastry here. Crackling, chewy crust, and an almost custardy soft inside. 10/10 would eat again. A must eat for any Montreal trip.

Ok let me tell you guys, if you see that little bakery and dont stop, you are stupide,😅 no sorry, seriously it remind me Europ when i was in vacation, the taste is absolutly amezing and i understand why there is so many peoples during the day, im here since 10 minutes and i seen little over 25 persons. So i suggest alot to stop by and ask for a Kouing Amann with a coffee or hot chocolate, you wont regreet it at all. I give 10 stars on 5. Enjoy.😋 adress 316, mont-royal east.

Been to Paris many times, and the place makes me feel like I'm in Paris the taste of pastry and the smell of bread. Perfect of the best.

Warm hot chocolate with a warm welcome to the service.

I need you to believe me. Give it a try.

First come walking into this place and it is so bright and dainty. Truthfully I didn’t order their specialty menu item. I went in for an Americano and a fresh Croissant. The croissant was flaky and just the right amount of chewy. There were only two tables and I felt a bit guilty taking up a table just for myself. So I took off a star just because it seems like a place where you grab and go your order. There is a lot of foot traffic and I over heard a lot of customers say that this was their favourite spot! I would go back and try their Kouign Amann. Next time!

Wow! The best Kouign Amann I have tasted! I have tried the ones in Paris and in a very popular Pastiserrie along St Germain and I found them very rich and sweet and not as soft as the one I tasted here! That was why when I went back to Paris couple times after, I never bothered to taste them again. The one’s here were very moist and soft and not that sweet! I was very full when we came in to try some and it was so good I finished one slice and decided to buy the grand one to take back home to Toronto!

The lady serving was very nice as well!! Now I am wishing I bought two grand ones!
