Staff was attentive throughout, making sure my food was served and not overlooked by asking me from time to time. Choices of the dim sum buffet are extensive. My personal favourite is siew mai.
A really old decor but comfortable place for good dimsum. Thoroughly enjoyed all their dimsum as it was freshly made to order. Service was alright and the environment was comfortable.
Food was average. The sweet and sour pork was the worst with a weird pork taste. It was expected cuz most hotel's chinese restaurant food has nothing to shout about.
Service was bad.
1) The waiter just left the tea pot on the table and walked away. We have to pour it ourselves.... understandable if it's a coffee shop but in a hotel.
2) We ordered about 7 dishes. There's no change of plates. We have to use the same plates and bowls throughout the entire dinner
3) The waiter and waitress are nowhere to be seen.....even asking for a plate of chili padi we have to ask twice before we can get it....asked from the first dish served and only gotten it when almost all dishes are served.
4) Trying to get our teapots to be refilled with hot water was a challenge as all the 4 waiters and waitresses were chit chatting at the cashier counter instead of attending to about 4 groups including ours at that time. We were just seated right behind the cashier counter...and we have to tap on the divider between our table and the cashier counter to ask them to refill our teapots.

Satisfactory meal, particularly the prawn noodles and the crispy roast duck. The meal wasn't different from similar restaurants although prices were lower and pork, becoming a rarity, was served. With a dated interior and menu, the old-school restaurant even in a five-star hotel could do with a makeover.
Compared to Concorde this dim sum place will leave u enjoyable with some interesting dim sum, yummy noodles with roasted duck and end with a lovely durian pancake crepe and mango chilled pamelo. The cosy vibes ur private leaves u a moment of undisturbed privacy while enjoying tea n dimsum together while their service was super attentive and understanding from young lady in spectacle
This is the second time my family and I ate their unlimited dim sum here but that's bcos we first went to Concorde and the queue there was crazy. Other than Concorde I think this is one of the very few hotels in which their Chinese restaurant is non-halal and thus was the likely second option.
Food wise, I don't think their dim sum was mind blowing... Grand Harbour was better in my opinion in terms of selection and taste. But this is a treat and luxury for the family and by the looks of the photos below, you can see that we are big eaters - so unlimited (aka buffet) is good 😊 ☺️
Won't recommend if you are looking for high quality dim sum fare but definitely better quality than the usual coffee-shop set ups. And yea, price is definitely on the very high side

Ambience and service were excellent. Enjoyed the flavourful dishes. The crispy roast duck and claypot tofu with salted fish and minced meat deserve special mention. A pity that dim sum was not available for dinner.
Is a Chinese restaurant with feel of very old style at 60+ generation feel even though I didn't born the year but the feel was this. Food taste was good and I bought the voucher for RM99 (without tax) and I didn't notice was fail on transaction and the staff was friendly and bring me for table and pay later. I bought my parent to enjoy it and they told me food taste was good and environment was nice. The toilet was build inside the restaurant and good for customer. Originally the restaurant was serve dim sum and I saw many foreigner was enjoy the meal together with us at room service. Maybe we just 3 person and being serve at outside the table, not a big deal. Really is a Chinese style restaurant, not like china Chinese style( is a Malaysia Chinese style). U will feel it when u dine in. The dessert 龟苓膏 was sibeh nice and tasty, really is true ingredients and after eat I have good poo poo at toilet ( help me clean my stomach in Chinese thinking), but I personally feel is Abit high price (RM 19/ small cup, 20% discount with Maybank/ SC bank card), somehow is hotel price so still acceptable...for parking wise when u drive in just take normal ticket and if u dine in is 3 hours free and u still can go pavilion shopping awhile) and if u paid with cashless card then is very expensive ( we go 1.5hours cost us RM10).
