Wonderful development that could do more for the people in the area, better events, attract more attention to it, this place has many stores but I think they are not doing well because people shop online more and this area could be much more than this but nether the less it’s beautiful and the view is spectacular of the entire Manhattan!

Such a wonderful place to visit to get a nice view of the sunrise coming behind NYC. In this case the sun is actually rising to right of NYC from this location. Still it lights up the city very nicely. When I went it was low clouds covering the city and I was able to get some nice hazy photos of the glowing orange sky.

Love it here! Perfect view of Manhattan skyline. Beautiful

Always go here on Sundays because of FREE parking at the ferry. Stores opened at 11am but some like Nike opens at noon. Its a hit & miss. If you want to waste time, walk around and enjoy the view- come on down. There were few sales at Old Navy & Nordstrom Rack, you just have to look. Food wise, not a lot of selection of food to grab. Inside the ferry terminal is pricey.

Beautiful place to enjoy an outing with my grandson, bike ride or sit and watch the Manhattan Skylines.

Use the ferry for free to Staten Island where you can find a newely opened mall consists of almost all famous department stores. Also, dont foget to have your meals there as they have priced reasonably.

Will hopefully be HOT spot for people to come to go shopping on the water front pier, dinning at a nice restaurant with the beautiful views of NYC and Jersey city Skyline and to come ride the worlds tallest Ferris Wheel 🎡. I am not sure what the legal battle is all about other than waisted money with the contracting company. But Staten Islands waterfront near ferry terminal is suppose to have the worlds tallest Ferris Wheel, a new mall and restaurants and suppose to be finished years ago. millions have been spent but nothing has yet to be finished. So in my opinion, until something actually gets done the only reason to go to this park is to ride the Staten Island Ferry and see the beautiful view of the NYC skyline. There is one restaurant open near this park but food quality is poor to mediocre at Dock Cafe. Hope I can change this review some time in the near future with more positive remarks.

I like how you can step off the Staten Island Ferry and immediately get access to this prime waterfront real estate. It has a laidback vibe and has great views of New York harbor. Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty are not as close so it’s best to bring binoculars or a camera that can zoom in distant objects with ease.
