Morrisons might need a bit of tlc, but it’s definitely a supermarket that needs to stay and fight to reopen. The amount of people flocking to Sutton with all the new high risers being built, it only tells me one thing, that we need a supermarket at the top of Sutton as well. It would be a huge loss of profits and market share for Morrisons if it closes down. Personally, I’ve never really had a problem with the store and will miss the cafe amongst other things.

Can you update the public Morrisons?

Since June 24, this Morrsions store has been closed for its maintanence and no reopening date has been published yet. Honestly speaking, i used to go to this Morrisons just because of its location close to my place. But their staff and store condition were the worst compare to other big grocery stores located nearby.
Hope they would comeback with massive improvement in all aspects.

The year was 2019 and I happened to be in the store and walking towards the fish section when a big piece of ceiling panel fell, nearly crushing me. The gentleman from the fish section came over to clear it up and looked well annoyed when I asked that he get the manager to come over and have a look at this. Working in property management, I tried to encourage the manager to take this matter seriously. He could not care less and it was clear he wasn't going to attempt to inject urgency into the matter or indeed investigate further. So yeah, not surprised in the least that the place is shut. Also, I would regularly find out of date items for sale. Once I found matchmakers 9 months out of date. Shocking really. Obviously, I don't shop there anymore.

Love it...but the lifts are a constant problem! Why not fix them ALL at once and save on call-out costs. Lovely friendly staff and a good layout! Also...could you pay me for working there when I'm forced to scan my own shopping? You need to put an option for an hourly rate so i can get paid accordingly. I dont like shopping so im pretty quick! I can give you my bank details but I'll need some sort of induction and I feel like I'll get taxed heavily for having a second job! What can we,as a team do about this? (Shopping is easy here so 5 stars is accurate! CASH IS KING THOUGH...SO...stop making it hard to pay cash!

Large rather cramped store in a slightly dingy building with its car park on the roof in town centre. Good fresh fish counter, bakery and butchers. Moderate quality greengrocery. Wide range of stock including Morrison's own brand and some items at good prices. Staff helpful, or bored.

13/06/24 - A visit to this store is rather depressing. The entrance to the store is dirty, be it dried urine, bird droppings, other liquid stains, and there is always a Big Issue seller, beggar or charity chugger outside chasing donations. I wouldn't call this a pleasant welcome or experience.

As for the cafe, you sense that the fixtures and fittings could do with a thorough clean. As for the meals, the phrase 'rough and ready' springs to mind.

This Morrisons is on the smaller side. They have plenty of spaces in the parking with a split level parking. The parking is free for maximum of 2 hours with additional hours charged

The shop was nice and tidy. They have a cafe in store to have a sit down meal.

There are toilets located inside the store free to use. However be aware they seem like they are rarely cleaned

Also there is also plenty of lifts to go up to the car park

The best supermarket out of the big ones, we like it a lot more than Tesco and Sainsbury’s. The fresh produce are better quality, the fish and meat as well, it’s less crowded and feels more friendly. Also, they don’t ask you to scan and pack yourself, which for me is a game changer as I’m not their employee!
