Great place to grab lunch or Dinner. Highly recommend the fish and chips, the food was so fresh with beautiful favors. My husband loved the fish and chips.
I tired the Israeli eggplant, because I really like eggplant. You don’t have to try it, if you’re not feeling so ambitious. One of the best eggplant dish I have had, they do served it with this light yummy bread. I did dip and scoop the dish with the bread, amazing favors. Best way to eat the eggplant dish in my opinion.

I had the feeling of eating fast food concealed in a restaurant setting. If you are a tourist, I think it kind of works for a defrost pizza for the kids and a slapped together salad (which hey in Israel even the worst ones tend to be good).. anything else it just gives the feeling someone at a burger chain just threw the ingredients together on the plate and threw them out of the kitchen. Overall I think is quite a decent place to sit in a square in which the alternatives are fish and chips and shawarma, but could be much better

Pretty good location to take a break and have lunch. Ordered the Italian Shashuka, which was delicious but was a little over cooked.

The Chraime is very delicious, and the bread had a good texture as well.

The orange juice wasn’t as fresh as the waitress set it out to be. Tasted some artificial flavouring or it could just be the sugar.

It’s a nice Café to take a break after walking around the old town of Jerusalem. It’s in the center of the city.

I must say that the eggplant dish was absolutely delicious, and it truly exceeded my expectations. However, I was a bit disappointed with the shakshuka, as I was hoping for a bit more flavor and spice.
Additionally, I noticed that the table I was seated at was a bit flimsy and swung around, which was a bit distracting and took away from the overall experience. If possible, please look into fixing or replacing the table to improve the dining atmosphere.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and appreciate the effort put into the dishes.

Food was delicious! The location was perfect for having a sit down lunch after visiting the Temple Mount to plan the next part of our pilgrimage adventure. Wait staff was kind and helpful and the prices were about what I’ve come to expect for a lunch in Israel ($20-25).

I had lunch here. I chose the shakshouka which was delicious. They have menus in English and English speaking staff. Good service and nice atmosphere. The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area with vines and flowers up the side of it. They take card payments.

What an amazing place to visit. A place to watch people as well as eat great meal. I loved the lasagna with lemonade. Apparently the lemonade comes with crushed ice. I recommend highly to take a break from the whole old city vibe and give yourself a reward by siting in front to enjoy the tourist, breeze and much more. Speaking of meal I am hungry, back to holy cafe.
