A scam. Theives. Expect to pay more, with fives times the deposit, and get hassled for damages which you didn’t do.
All reviews saying this is a company of thieves and liars is 100% accurate. They stole money from me after claiming it would be a credit card hold only, and refused to refund me.
When i complained, they basically laughed at me.
Avoid this company at all costs. Disgusting liars, thieves and cheats.

Very bad rent a car... The price was not the same like i booked...
First off a previous commenters experience about Keddy having the insurance built in to the online price? ABSOLUTELY FALSE!
Not only do they force you to accept the ‘mandated’ Mexican scam insurance (which literally covers nothing unless the car gets stollen) but the astronomical rate is more than 2 weeks hotel stay in Mexico.
THEN there’s the contact situation… no phone number online or on the contract will get anyone on the phone. Tried for days to get someone to answer concerning an issue we had and we were left on our own in a foreign country to just figure it out. It seems they don’t want to ‘deal’ with their paying customers.
And lastly and possibly most disappointing… the return address to take the car back on the contract was in Cancun…super awesome because I would have loved to go to Cancun! Except we were in Mexico City! After driving around for over an hour we finally got another rental car company to answer to direct us there.
Spend a little extra and go with a U.S. or at least more familiar company and spare the stress on your vacation. You’ll thank me later.

I may be the only one here leaving a positive review, but after living/working Remotely in Cancun for months, you learn a few things. It's a fact that most (if not all) car rental companies here are scams - yes even some of the "big" international brands I won't say names. They don't accept any insurance from 3rd parties - whether it's insurance from your credit card or insurance purchased online from a 3rd party. None of it's accepted. And they will literally stand there and argue with you about it, everything short of breaking your hand until you finally cave in...or just walk away. But the beauty with Keddy is that those embarrassing arguments are unnecessary - because their insurance is automatically built into their online price. Their is no "upcharge" as it's all already included. The only caveat is that you must book directly with them. Sure it may be $50 cheaper on Priceline or RentalCars.com but again, their insurance won't be accepted. Since I discovered that, I've been booking with Keddy 80% of the time I'm in Mexico.
Upon picking up the car in Mexico City, they purposefully double charged my credit card for over $500 USD and pretended it never happened, claiming there was no record of the charge. After countless emails left completely ignored by the company, I finally went to the office to demand a refund for one of the 2 identical charges. After an hour of the staff trying to turn us away and convince us there was no double charge, we finally received a receipt for a FAKE refund. They tried to scam me by showing me a receipt of the "refund" which wasn't a refund at all, but a sales receipt they were trying to convince me was a refund. Finally, after I called them out, they refunded the card however I still ended up losing a bunch of money due to the exchange rate. The company once again refused to do anything to compensate me for this loss.
Total scam and dishonest business. Avoid at all costs. Bait and switch. Post one price online and then charge a "mandatory" insurance when you show up of over $30 per day. Required even when presented with a copy of global credit card coverage.
NOT recommended. I paid and attempted to rent a car from rentalcars.com and paid online for full insurance coverage through THEM. Keddy prevented me from renting the car, alleging that I needed to buy their insurance, even though evidence of valid coverage was on record. This was news to me, as it was not in the terms and conditions. Keddy is UNREASONABLE, UNRESPONSIVE, DECEITFUL AND DISHONEST.
