Nice place and good service. Good quality offers and creative products in store. Need some more slow ev chargers to help people charge cars overnight
Basmati microwaveable rice. Wow on quality & price. Proper good. Only thing came in on Wednesday. And people were forced to qué on self service. Some with big shopping. Until I spoke up. Then I was told I may not be served. Yet then one woman jumped on checkout. Cos they knew I was right. All that headache. Really!?? And they need keep hold of Asian security guards. These black ones are docile & unmannered.!! There was 3 women staff at self checkout not doing nothing! When they had keys to go on the tills etc. as qué was long. A joke on service.
There’s a very very rude female clerk (looks like she's from Southern Asia) around self-checking-out counters, one of the most horrible ppl I’ve ever seen. I went to the checkout with lots of items and asked her if I could keep the basket for a while to manage the groceries so I could leave the counter for others waiting there (I mentioned that I would not take the basket away). I was very polite but she didn't understand me and simply commanded "say it again" with a quite defensive tone. I was very sleepy that time and I didn't wanna conflict so I said it again. She agreed but later she just took my basket away when I was almost done with the checkout. I was so confused said excuse me then she just put it down and left without saying anything...? Obviously she remembered exactly what I said and still took the basket away (on purpose!), and my intention was just to make the queue behind me shorter. The clerks I met before had been nice but I've never come again since this person has traumatised me, good for her☠️☠️☠️ Just get her reeducated or maybe a therapist.

We often come for the freshly made pizza to order.
Great value and flavours.
Unfortunately this experience is let down almost every visit by extremely slow staff.
There seems to be a policy of only serving one customer at a time.
Including waiting for thr pizza to be fully cooked before they even acknowledge the next customer.
Often meaning a 20 minute wait just to order.
Having spoken to management I was told it is what it is.
They're short staffed and I'd just have to wait.
Myself and my grandson travelled up from Weston super Mare for the champions league game at the Etihad today. We popped into the Asda as it was close to where we parked in the velodrome. I had a very nice duck and hoisin sauce wrap, crisps and a tea. The lady who served us was extremely welcoming and explained how the cafe worked at different times of day. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable and informative. She had a cap on and was serving at the till. She is certainly a credit to Asda!
Thankyou Asda Eastlands!
Yesterday evening I bought some beef boon less unfortunately that was very old even had very bad smell and the colour was changed
I have just had a just eat delivery from the cafe here. All of my food has gone in the bin as it’s stone cold. I’ve just rang the store to ask for a manager to contact me about this.
I’ve been told that there’s no manager available at this moment of time.
The meal I ordered was a pizza meal deal for a family. This level of food served being cold is unacceptable and a waste of money. Everything that came was extremely cold like I said. I live less than half a mile away from the store and it shouldn’t be that cold in the time it takes from it to leave the cafe to a local delivery address.

I would like a member of the management team to contact me regarding this situation as I’m very unhappy.
This superstore located in rushthome. All fresh vegetables, fruits and groceries are available. All Asian groceries are available. Fresh meat also there inside this shop. Cash, card and contact less payment also available.

I bought South Indian rice £18 but very costly compare online purches but quality of annapoornna rice brand is good. Don't buy Shankar brand.
Generally I have had good experience, however there has been a few times where I have purchased meats that smelled off. Luckily I kept the receipt and was able to get a refund.

Lots of options and aisles to browse through.
Easy to buy all needed sources in one place from veggies to household goods. Prices are worth purchasing many things.
I used to like this Lidl. Staff was friendly and nice. Especially one lady from Bavaria and one lovely English lady. Yesterday I used self service check out. There was this new guy who didn't do anything. He wouldn't even pick up the baskets that fell over. Everything was so dirty and filthy. The scanner window was so filthy it didn't want to scan. When I asked to have it wiped, he refused. Guy was tall, dark, with a beard, I guess of West Asian origin. So rude! I will never go there again!
We have visited here to do our shopping late on a Friday a couple of times and we enjoy it. Quieter and easy. Friendly staff and easy to find what you need.
This store needs to understand that they have no right to tell people parked legally on the public street outside their shop that the parking is only ‘for customers and deliveries’. You do not own the parking spaces on the street outside your store, these are PUBLIC USE
You can find what you want there really good.
The ladies at the Express Diner were absolutely brilliant today. Really kind and helpful, doing everything they could to ensure efficient service. I haven’t experienced customer service of that calibre in a long time
Been coming here for over 35 years however more recently and increasingly obvious here is that staple items such as eggs and milk and other items seem to be always out of stock on normal week days forcing me to go elsewhere.

This store has become a place
where restaurants and takeaways come and fill their trolleys for the purposes of trade. This practice should be stopped and a limit placed on items. However, Asda Longsight Management seems to just turn a blind eye.
Terrible delivery service. Yesterday my girlfriend ordered delivery at evening. Driver didn't find parking place close to door of our apartment so he cancelled order. Just like that. He was very lasy to leave car 50 metres far and bring to us grocery. He was very arrogant when he called to us and after cut off phone call. No more any shopping there. Sorry
Worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. Had to stand and wait for 10 minutes to start with as it was closed for half an hour whilst the staff had tea. Not quite sure why they can't stagger their tea times? All i can presume is they are scared of eating alone so they all need to eat together to avoid this. The prescriptions are rarely ready for collection on time or they simply can't find it. When you do wait for them there is always something owing resulting in another trip back. One particular member of staff, who I'll refrain from naming on here, is just plain rude. All in all I will be moving any further prescriptions to a proper pharmacy that actually knows it backside from its elbow
Took my shopping to the checkout today and was greeted by a lovely smile and greeting from a young lady called Louise. Very freindly and chatty and helped me pack my bags. Very pleasant experience

Stop selling helium balloons if you never have the gas to fill them, if you don't want to stop selling the balloons try a little polite sign on the balloon shelf... "Sorry customer we don't have any gas, please don't waste your time trying to find the correct numbers" I have 4 boy's and this is the 4th letdown visit in 2023. Well done ASDA x
Just been to put petrol in & it's closed.Cones across the entrance.Showing as open 24 hours on the website.
I have never been into either store of Asda's in all my 36 years of life. And, to go into a supermarket to then find out there was either 'Bag for life' or the main carrier bags at either self-checkouts or main checkouts. But, to have Asda offer you a minor pathetic, small little carry bags that are used to going into a small bin, being the clear bags, to then witnessing a customer walking out of the store carrying substantial half a dozen of very heavy bottles of coke or soft drinks, to then literally within four-seconds off leaving the tills, have them all fall on the floor. And then for our shopping to then having to go to a very luxury supermarket store across the road from Asda in the Trafford Centre to head to Selfridge's who were very kind to offer one of their luxury yellow bags. And even the staff were absolutely shocked at the thought of no bags.
Good supermarket very busy all times. Plenty of parking available. They should do halal products also.
Best place to buy halal food and ingredients in manchester. Unfortunately the place has become dirtier over the years. Now its barely possible to walk in without stepping on dirt.
All products are slightly overpriced compared to the rest of the country, however you dont need to worry about halal as they only store halal products.
The butchers are quite skilled and you get a huge variety of choice of meat. Also fresh fruits and vegetables stocked everyday.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding an unfortunate incident that took place on October 23, 2023, at your Trafford Centre Asda store, involving my family and friends.

On that day, we dined at the McDonald's restaurant within Asda and experienced an inexplicable delay in receiving one of our orders. However, this initial inconvenience did not dampen our shopping spirits. Given the vast size of the Trafford Centre branch, we spent an extended amount of time shopping for our preferred items. Unfortunately, as time passed, we realized we had exceeded the two-hour parking limit.

We promptly approached the customer service desk as instructed in the parking area to address the matter, but regrettably, your colleagues not only failed to assist but also provided unwarranted reasons for denying our request. The first colleague cited our dining at McDonald's as a reason for refusal. The second colleague questioned our ability to shop for over two hours in your expansive store and insisted on a £100 minimum purchase for assistance, without providing any signage to support this requirement. I shared my previous experience of receiving assistance for exceeding two hours of shopping at the Trafford Centre Asda, and the inconsistency in treatment left us baffled. The second colleague mentioned that we had already been given one chance, and this time, even my friends were denied assistance.

With no other choice, we reluctantly left the premises.

We are profoundly disappointed as this incident does not align with the high standards we have come to expect from Asda. While we acknowledge our responsibility for exceeding the parking time limit, the responses from your customer service colleagues were both perplexing and unreasonable. Why should dining at McDonald's disqualify us from assistance? Why question our ability to shop for two hours in your store? And why discriminate based on our purchase amount?

Currently, we await the two £70 fines for dining at McDonald's within Asda.

We sincerely hope you will investigate this matter and provide a reasonable resolution to rectify this unfortunate situation. We have been loyal customers of Asda and believe this incident to be an exception to the usual excellent service we associate with your company.
A shop good enough to purchase asian food stuffs and vegetables.
The pharmacy staff are in need of some serious customer service training, they do not even have the basics it’s absolutely disgraceful. If I could leave - 0 I would.
Really good for most stuff, I only wish it had more vegan products. I think the Salford Tesco Extra spoiled me and now nothing can compare.
What a joke of a store this really is. Prices are going up MORE than inflation but what really prompted me to leave this review is the check out service! After they’ve ripped you off on your weekly shop they then expect you to check yourself out which is a total shambles. The only 2, yes 2 checkout tills which were open had 10 people queuing and blocking the isles. Self checkout had a big queue also (this was Sunday around mid day) On leaving the security alarm went off (not for the first time) and made me feel like a thief. Security guard looked at my receipt and said he had to check every few people because of theft and didn’t apologise. Absolutely sick of this disorganised shambles of a store. 0/10
Been again today (29/10/23) and still the same issues at checkout and surprise surprise got stopped for a bag check once again. One more time and I’ll be seeking legal advice.
Probably the worst Asda store for customer service in the UK. Absolutely ignorant, arrogant even abusive staff members who don't seem to realise that even a basic level of customer service might be enough to keep customers. The member if staff on self serve checkouts couldn't be worst if they'd tried, I was expecting Jeremy Beadle to jump out in the end it was so bad.
warm greetings, I'm looking for a job if you need it and what Dominic, I'm definitely interested in some warehouses, so I'm waiting for your offer, thank you ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Here we can find almost everything about Asian food and groceries. Yes Indeed they sell all the Halal products. Price may not match with other big superstore like Asda, Tesco and others. But more or less we can find things reasonable.

Next time I will get some good pictures for full review.
Customer service and lotto counter understaffed, the amount of times I have had to leave the que as they dissappear from counter constantly for four five minutes if dealing with customer services. Leaving customers who want to purchase cigaretts or lotto tickets waiting.
How can some of the stuffs be so RUDE and almost not helpful at all?! Why renting the frustration of the work to me? I’m not the one who force only two people to deal with all the problems on twenty self service machines that always get frozen 🙄️. One star for the really nice stuffs I’ve met before but obviously I am not that lucky most of the time
Website says you sell maternity but you don't so I wasted a trip. Fitting rooms are still there but closed for no reason. I don't live near an Asda so I guess I can't buy your clothes even online because the returns process is such a hassle. Such a shame as your maternity clothes looked great and I'm struggling to get any.
They are giving 'special offer' which gives 3 expired drink cans for £1. Horrendous.
Was in your store about 90 minutes ago, bought some beers at the self service checkout and waited about 5 minutes for a staff member to approve it, no one was on duty,
Along with about 8 other customers who were kept waiting, won't be visiting again, we left the items on the checkout, you lost a sale of £ 57.
Great business.
The architecture is incredible and the food is great the people are really friendly real mix of different cultures. But I wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few weeks, cos you've seen most of what's worth seeing within a couple of weeks.
Some shameless person took my trolley I kept my £1 in when I was ordering food from McDonald's, which is inside the store. Went to the security and he's not interested in the conversation at all. He was casual throughout. I happened at 8:15 PM today (Sep 20, 2023). Later went to the till staff and she's shrugged off her shoulder as well. At last, after the sopping, been to the customer service and they tried offering me a token or something like that and could not find one. Thoroughly disappointed with this experience. Whoever took that trolley must be feeling some amount of shame when he/she claims back the £1 when putting back the trolley.
Not the best Lidl. Been a few times in the last year. Freezer doors still don't close properly. Had a trolley but only self service open. The one member of staff tried his best but need to constantly override our till, due to no basket, and deal with everyone else.
Manchester Superstore grocery is a fantastic place to shop for groceries in Manchester! They offer a wide variety of fresh produce, pantry staples, and other household items. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, making it a convenient option for your shopping needs in the city.
Very bad customer service very rude staff and no toilets for customers .
Date of visit 14th August - time of visit 17:50 .
I am not surprised to see a lot of comments about staff agression ,rude behaviour and bullying as I went through most appealing experience in my life and it really had made me not to do any customs with asda eastlands in future .
I had went to collect order and after waiting for 20 minutes I was told by staff they don't know how long it will be as they are busy . Upon requesting time I was treated badly and went to customer service desk to escalate this to manager .
On service desk I met a lady who had said nothing can be done and refused to call manager despite pleading multiple times . Eventually she used swearing words and started shouting . I then asked her name and she had refused and further went on using her degraded remarks and shouted . The lady had grey coloured hairs and it was an experience of a life time . As I was speaking to her security guard called stuart came and dragged me from back and asked me to leave . I asked him why he was asking me to leave and he said I was being abusive . The reality was very contradictory as request to speak to manager had become like impossible task in the world and being bullied sweared upon and shouted at resulted in me being asked to leave .
I had told security staff that he should not use force when his own staff was swearing and it went to deaf ears .
The whole experience was heartbreaking as Asda once had its reputation but staff there act like mad children.
Soon the manager came and without speaking he asked me to leave too. I asked his name and was told I don't need his name . Manager was rude and aggressive .
This whole experience had made me evolve my perception about Asda brand and has made me feel sad, heartbroken and upset and this has caused a lot of pain and anxiety as how this world has become now a days .
The cost of trying to speak to manager resulted in bullying ,agression ,swearing and use of physical force from multiple staff members.
I wish staff and management and security were trained and to treat customers like humans .
If you are a Nigerian, you need to come here because it has EVERYTHING
A place in the proximity serves best. Very handy for shopping urgently and fast. It's wine and beer section is really good. Thank you.
Asda long site superstore was a very good sending items. It isn't that big as others as does. But it will do the job and you will find everything you need and so did I. But the one thing I don't like about this is the same thing every time there is long lines what type of self checkout? It's not that busy
This is a place soothing for purchasing African food needs.
Very poor customer service. usually visits this store since long time for shopping and "click and collect" services. On may 31st@ 12.45 pm, i visit this store for collecting online parcel. I waited nearly half an hour until an employee came and given the parcel. Meantime while i wait at store i spoke with two employes, both heard my concern and said a colleague will come shortly. Last time when i use the "click and collect "
services, i waited so long for receiving parcel. Appreciate an immediate action from store manager./ ORDER NO: 113478651
One star and that is generous A minus would be realistic I have been shopping here for many many years and cannot believe how bad it is now over the last nine months or so it has got worse and worse One checkout open if you are lucky with trollies queueing halfway up the aisle opposite No staff on shop floor to help Queues at customer service horrendous So many empty spaces on shelves and often wrong prices when you get to check out because no staff checking prices I talk to the staff and the ones who are left are so fed up but darent say Shift Managers great but top Manager (s) here never to be seen Stuck in her office on Instagram ? They have lost so many customers and dont seem to care I think the store is being run down ready to close At the moment it must be the worst run Asda in the country Why do Head Office not sort this out ?

I was in again this morning at 10.15 am and it was worse than ever NO tills open Self scan for small baskets not open so only 8 self scan tills for large trollies and customers with baskets having to wait behind them Long queues No Managers anywhere -again= why are the store Managers never on the shop floor ?? Staff were SHOUTING at customers to get in queues Pathetic Worst Asda store ever Staff said it was because it was early morning !! 10.15 am !!
We do our weekly shop here without fail. Staff are lovely, food is reasonably priced. Blue light discount.
I wanted to give a mention to David, our delivery driver. He is polite, friendly and helpful.
My husband & I are in our seventies and he always helps us with the shopping.
It’s nice to give praise when it is deserved. Well done David, and thanks.
New owners and everything is clean good customer service
Self service checkouts, always the same staff too busy on their phones to assist. Look left they even have their ecigs ready to smoke too. Failsworth Kristina
So coming here is actually a joy since there are two ways to get into this place. From the main road which is Manchester road or from the street side... The store is pretty big spacious and has everything you need and would exspect from a Tesco's.
Today afternoon pay at cashier. The lady service really bad shouting attitude. I’m looking for the manager to make complain.
Very disappointed
Staffs weren’t friendly
I Ordered lamb chops and I paid 10.99£ per kg while I cooked 3 times but not still ready
It’s took nearly 2 hours to get ready even after 2 hours still lamb chops so hard and can’t eat
I try to ring sooo many times Manchester superstore phone was not going through sooo finally we put all food in Bin .
Good quality baby items and my child loved her pink bib Tommee tippee for £2.
Their stock is quite good. When you ask a question to a staff member, they are able to respond and assist. Self service tills available and a huge outside free parking for up to 3h.
Love ASDA the clothes are great value for money and school uniforms are good too at ideal prices.
really nice to see most options for ethnic food, but a few options are missing. I wish they had more Moroccan options.
the butchers were nice , the cashiers were also nice but one of the gentlemen outside sorting the veggies was a bit mean but overall it's nice place
Asda does not feel right, never has never will. That folks is my opinion only. You enjoy.🙂
Good store with large variety of daily stuff. A small part for furniture and cooking tools turn out to be very useful. One more thing, don't forgot to use the Asda award to earn money. It is very easy to save money there
So rude and have no manner the store manager Rohan.
told over the phone come to the store for interview anytime. Even before coming call to the store. Said come after half an hour will be available. Once arrived said to staff member he is busy not possible to come down .as I came from long way to store for the interview. Seriously can't understand how so irresponsible person can be store manager. So weird experience ever got.
Everything i need for discounted prices. Also really good service if i need anything they will try get it in.
Absolutely love this shop. The best butchers I've ever bought from at the back of the shop and the front fresh fruit and veg and international imports. Love it, been shopping here for years.
Only downside is parking or rather lack of 😅
This is where I fo my shopping and my father's . I feel its great value fir money ,variety and sells what I call ethnic food.
Very friendly and nice customer service. Lots of varieties of fish and vegetables.
I want summer shirts a bit longer upto thigh length.
Couldn't find winter stuff upto knee length.
All tops amd hoodies and sweet shirt are butt length that's really embarrassing for some people.😩 although they come only in that specific length at all stores but if George improve its women fashion the way i im looking for then so many of women will love them.
Rest ov d stuff and items are really good nice colours schemes.
Summer shoes nèeds to improve like without laces shoes trainers and canvas pumps in bright colours as floral prints and snake prints.
Great range of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Minimal plastic packaging.
Buy as little or much as you want or need.
Prices are pretty good too.
Also a quality butcher's on site.
And a range of Asian Indian and African foods for sale.
Worth a visit
Inside could do with a refurb other than that great. The staff might not smile but they all treat you with respect and are always ready to help. have been using this shop for over 20 years all produce is always fresh
Good price fuel open normal shopping hours but has a pay at pump option
First time using this particular fuel station, pay at pump only as no way of choosing pay at kiosk, in my experience, so gave up and used another station down the road.
I always use tesco to fill my car, it is everywhere, convenient, and the prices are usually the best. Never had a problem with quality either.
Absolutely great for fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Definitely recommended taking a look/trying something new. The staff could be a little bit more helpful and I find the leave-your-bag system a bit odd but overall great produce with great prices.
Quiet at this time and no queue at the checkouts, so I enjoyed the experience! Went at a slightly busier time, but everything was still good. A slight queue at the till, but Lidl colleague was nice and efficient. There were some boxes of stock lying around which detracted from the overall ambience of the store. Found everything we were looking for as well, so there are no issues regarding stock levels.
I’ve visited this place a couple of times and can vouch for their customer service. They have almost everything a kitchen needs to prepare piping hot delicious Asian food dish.

Fresh fruits and produce is sourced daily for local community members and is offered at reasonable prices. Parking is available.

Delivery is also available. Just speak to service members on your visit.
Very friendly staff nice and clean apart from meat section they really need to change them otherwise it 5 star
Good location, competitive prices of fuel but no hand sanitiser or disposable gloves to use on the petrol station especially in the days of covid19. What a shame. On the other hand TESCO is making record profits in the days of this pandemic.
Very good all Bangladeshi food available
Good quality fresh meat at reasonable prices
Is a good store and petrol station.
Excellent chocolate trifles on safe here. Vegetarian friendly.
Worth going just for that 1 item.
Decent amount of stock, vegetables fruit and meat mainly, not much parking but you find one around it or in front of it, its got helpful staff it does get a bit crowdy in there but you can find what your looking for, please have a look the pictures :)
Very nice, easy to find and CLEAN supermarket.
Excellent Asian/Indian/Middle Eastern/African store.
Absolutely loads of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Some of which are generally not available.
Loads of frozen and canned goods too.
Lots of things such as soft drinks at virtually wholesale prices.
Well worth going to visit and see .
Recommended.
Pleasant shopping. Not as frenetic as some of the bigger branches. Staff at checkout extremely helpful and friendly. Even managed to grab a bargain, fluffy dressing gown for winter snuggles, down from £20 to £7, great! Prices very reasonable and lots of variety.
A great local convenience store for all your fresh produce and Halal meats with an in-house butcher's
Excellent place to shop. There are so many choices. This really is a one stop shop for all your weekly shopping. Staff are eager to help and the veg and fruit section is immense with international varieties.
Standard supermarket petrol station, pay at pump or in the little shop, the shop closes at 22:00 but the big Tesco is open 24 hours. Can be a pain to exit at busier times as the design of the junction is really bad.

If you just want to put in £10, 20... There is a button that lets you set the pump to only deliver that account of fuel. Takes the fun out of doing it yourself but is handy.
