Love this place!! Incredible room and views to die for and a diverse menu! Staff was super friendly and fun! There was one thing on the menu we got that was not up to par ~ specifically the hamachi with mint but maybe it was just me but my husband didn’t like it either🙁 But the other dishes and especially the rolls were awesome and the pad Thai was great! We will definitely go back!!

And service. The only negative is it’s almost impossible to get in. We sit at the bar as usual and the view is unsurpassed in Malibu. The crowd is hip and trendy and almost impossibly young. LA at its finest….some people I know think that’s a negative. I love the vitality and energy. It is pricey but hey the land alone is a fortune and so it is what it is. Everything we had today was stellar. I especially loved the Dover sole ~ omg incredible. The eggplant was amazing and all the sushi is top notch. Just an awesome place🎉

This was literally fine dining at its best with a few exceptions. The room was amazing and magical and extravagant. And the service was really excellent. However, I felt a tiny bit rushed, and there was definitely several bones left in my fish that they filleted at the table. So that was a little bit of a turn off… and I’ve said many times that, they should allow you to give half stars or even quarter stars because I would definitely have given more than a four but a little less than a five. But the room and the food minus the bones was extraordinary. 🎉🎉🎉

Wanted to love this place because it’s so quaint and comfy. I was craving eggs and ordered the breakfast sandwich but the bacon jam was soooo sweet and over powering, it ruined the sandwich. The pastries were great but I didn’t want sweet ~ I wanted savory. Also, there was only 1 server and so he had to take care of the whole place. He was very nice but we had to we had to wait about 15 min for our check ….So take that all into consideration. If you’re looking for a sweet pastry this is your place.

I’m giving this awesome place 5 stars not because it’s posh or some trendy, gourmet, bougie place…it’s based on. 5 star old school Naugahyde Italian place where the food is a literal delight to the palate in a way that embodies the love and time put into a traditional Italian family meal.
It’s everything you want from this type of place.
Parking can be challenging but we got a spot right up front 🎉
The tomato sauce here is literally divine and that is the basis of good Italian food. It takes time and love💗 there is no scrimping allowed or 🤷‍♀️
We got the calamari which was tender and the sauce amazing.
We split a Cesar (see picts for size) which was the literal perfect flavor balance 🎉
We god sand dabs and chicken piccata as the 2 main courses. The sand dabs were flavorful (I like them a little more crispy - but there are no half stars so🤷‍♀️🎉). My chicken was delish.
The martinis were literally 5 stars - perfectly balanced and ICEY which I love ❄️❄️❄️ They don’t have patron silver - for my personally created patron martini but I now like Don Julio silver Better🎉🎉🎉so good!
We ended with a tartufo for dessert which was very nice ( my husband loved it - I prefer to drink my dessert)
