Hana Market

All the snacks you’re looking for. Also canned coffee and green tea those carbonated fruit drinks with the marble at the top. A dozen varieties of KitKat. Seemingly every Hi-Chew and Puchao available. Shelves and shelves of seaweed and furikake and ramen. I always walk out of here with three times what I expected to get! My favorites are the peanut snacks and wasabi nori-wrapped crackers.
What a delightful place! During our visit all the owners were respectful, all the dogs were friendly, and the entire enclosure was remarkably clean. There was a doggy bag station and a small trash bin, but like any park you should really leave nothing behind.
FRAMING INC

Gary has framed a dozen or so prints for us over the past decade, from small block prints to quite large posters. Gary is a craftsman, and his work is impeccable. He consistently spends time to chat and choose the right mats and framing material for each piece. Quality framing can get expensive, ours have ranged from $200-$700, but I have never once thought he was trying to upsell. Gary can accommodate urgency when needed, but you’ll be much better off telling him there’s no rush on your piece, just call him back after about 3 weeks to check on it. My very first visit wasn’t even for proper framing, it was to ask for help assembling a frame kit I bought off the Internet. Gary took sympathy on me, put the kit together for me at no real benefit to his business, and now he has me as a customer for life.
An oddly under-used and frequently empty playground. The electronic games & music structure is not functional.
Compact neighborhood park for small children, quite conveniently near the 11th street restaurants. Not the most maintained park in DC, but still lots of fun. Lots of shade in the afternoon.
