Very inconsistent experience. Some food was very good; peanut shrimp tacos, tuna tostada. Others were very lacking: the sea bass was great but it didn't pair at all with the olives covering them. The berries palavra was very good but it had way too much wafers and a poor shape.
Service was also inconsistent. They gave hors d'oeuvres between drinks and appetizers but service was inattentive after the middle of the meal. Also they do small plates but bring everything at the same time? The waiter counted our cash at the table when he took our check.
They very obviously want to be fine dining but can't do it consistently enough to be an above average restaurant.
Wonderful experience, tasty food, great ambience and excellent service. You can try many of the local specialties.
This is the finest restaurant in Condesa. The hand made multi-corn tortillas we absolutely the best I’ve ever had. Azul is a must try in CDMX.
Legend! Incredible value and fantastic and interesting food. I haven’t had Mexican food on this level outside of Mexico City.
Definitely a superior experience. What great food and service is perfection. Lots of attention when you want it without it being invasive 👌. Mole with roasted duck is highly recommended!
If I could give this restaurant a 4.6, that’s where I would probably land. I found some of the food spectacular—unique, full of flavor and depth, beautifully presented (morel risotto, fish, even the house salad was 👌). I was disappointed with the duck—not my favorite flavor profile— but what disappointed me more was that it seemed the duck that was in the duck confit ravioli was the same as the poblano Chinese duck. Surprised they would have the same duck preparation in 2 different dishes. (I liked the ravioli otherwise). Ambiance and service were superb! Best for a special occasion. Would definitely come back again.
I came on a busy Saturday night as a solo diner. They had a loud DJ playing edm music. I was sat at a bar table—and the service was inattentive. The food was ok—but I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Not the relaxing high end service I was expecting—more high energy (see and seen type of space) than advertised.
Luxury restaurant with amazing interior, service, food and drinks. We had a good time, the staff is very attentive; they forgot about one meal but informed immediately and apologised several times.
First off atmosphere and service were top notch. Made it a high class experience.

I was expecting more from the food-side. With the hype of this as one of the best restaurants in North America, I expected to be blown away by at least one dish, but each dish was good but nothing I’ll remember the flavor of past next week. For the price I’d say it’s a fun experience to do once, but there are plenty of other great options to keep trying in CDMX.

Wine pairing was great
I will describe my experience at Pujol and at the end I will leave my final experience review :
I don’t know if you can just walk in or not but in my case I made reservation for 1 person (me) so I didn’t have any issues. The first dish they brought the entree or as they called it “snack” was exquisite. The place I was seated on was nice however if you have chubby legs I suggest you mention that to the staff or your waiter, because it is somewhat tight (at least the place I was seated at by the waiter). The noice level created by the customer is relatively low and the music played was lovely it was a classy Latin American music (not pop music at all which is appreciated ). I absolutely love how each dish was explained to me. And the taste, oh my god it resemble so many traditional Mexican dishes in a new concept and a new flavor. The waiters were very attentive so much that sometimes I didn’t even realized my cup of water was already empty but they notice it and refill it. The waiting period between each course is just not enough to take a break and reflect on the flavors experienced. Also some foods are supposed to be eaten by hand so don’t worry about getting your hands dirty and at the end of the course they bring you a warm wet towel to clean your hands (loved the service).
Summary: I highly suggest this place to eat it’s worth the money in every sense.
On our last night in CDMX, we had a reservation at Meroma, and they did not disappoint. We have had some excellent meals while staying in the Roma/Condesa area, but this was our favorite. We are from Los Angeles, and we have a fairly good barometer for food and dining.

I'll just start with the service, which was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff were extremely attentive and available when you needed them. We never had to wait. 5 stars.

We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio---Highly recommend. Also get a reservation in advance.

The Cocktails- We both had 2 different cocktails each. All of them delicious, inventive and extremely well balanced. I'm not sure how much alcohol was in them, but we loved them all. My favorite was Rum Foam (thank me later for the rec).

The Starters- We had the beef tartare, and the cauliflower dishes. Both absolutely delicious. The beef was ground very fine, and the consistency was just the way we like it, and served with 2 wonderfully crusty pieces of bread...excellent.
The Cauliflower roasted on bed of lentils and green mole. This was so full of Umami and deliciousness, a tad salty, but if you like salty (like me) it's just fantastic. The Green mole was excellent. A very well balanced dish.

For the Entree- We selected the Butter roasted Organic Half-chicken (recommended for 2), but we were motivated by the sides that it came with-- the roasted purple potatoes and brussel sprouts were served over an umami-filled thin sauce, asian-style scallion pancakes, and a salad with beef-fat vinaigrette. The Chicken was served in four pieces (3 cuts of breast and a leg). It was served atop of such an incredible jus of chicken. Again, more umami flavor popping out. The skin was perfectly crisp and delicious.

For Desert---I had the Afogato, and again... delicious.

Great job to everyone involved in giving us a wonderful last night in Roma. We would absolutely come back again. If you are in Roma anywhere near Calle Colima, you'd be foolish not to check it out.

Enjoy!
Nice atmosphere and beautiful decor, found lightening a bit too dark for my taste. Had the tasting menu, which was interesting but not exceptional. Dishes were all well prepared but did not amaze me. Great service, definitely expensive bill. Overall, a nice one night experience, but truly overrated.
It’s been a while since I’ve returned to this restaurant, and happy to say that the food is still stellar ✨

Side note: reservation recommended especially if you want to sit at the second floor balcony.

Came for a small afternoon snack. My favorites were the oysters & grilled octopus. The server kindly helped us navigated the gluten free options on the menu.

Would love to try some main dishes next time round!
The food was excellent and well prepared. Pricey but we knew that already. We had the leek salad, Japanese eggplant, catch of the day, fish collar, fried artichoke, and a dessert.

It was busy on a Wednesday afternoon and so the plates came out a little slow, but overall the service was attentive and no major complaints there. Would return again for sure.
Unique fusion food with an open chef’s table and elite service. I love when fine dining spots are open during lunch! We want lunch too! I ordered the Mexi-Thai fish curry with eggplant and mushroom. It's one of those dishes I respect for it's blend but I don't want to eat again. I like the menu and know each dish is thought out with flavor. Complimentary bites and bread given.
I thoroughly enjoyed my leisurely coursed lunch at Allium. I sat on the outside patio and enjoyed people watching between dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, the dishes beautifully plated, good wine & the food was fresh and flavorful. I would happily return here on my next visit to Guadalajara.
A true gem of a restaurant that aims to be impeccable instead of trendy. The second floor space is elegant and the natural light is especially beautiful in the late afternoon and early evening. Service is warm and polished, and the menu full of stellar selections. The chile en nogada special in September is not to be missed!
A lovely little restaurant in the Polanco neighbourhood. Came here for a quick lunch and everything was exquisite. Service was on point. The spinach ravioli with lemon cream sauce was amazing and the drinks were delicious! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes!
This has been BY FAR the best place I have been to since visiting Mexico City as far as good quality non-fried and divinely healthy food! I had the roast chicken on salad 9they did it special) w avo and I could taste the 100% pure extra extra virgin olive oil, balsamic and arugula/rocket leaves along with some pumpkin and sunflower seeds that had been roasted. I am going there again no doubt! then I had the passionfruit cheesecake that was creamy, low sugar and light yet sweet and sour too. The coffee was strong and good. I am hooked!
Service was excellent. Waiters speak English. If that's a plus for you, enjoy. The Black Bass was excellent. I also had a glass of an excellent Mexican Chardonnay. The desert menu is limited and though usually a dessert eater, I did not have any. The atmosphere is casual and refined relaxing.
Expensive Restaurant. The Chef makes and effort to change menus periodically. small quiet place great to talk. Good Cocktail selection.
Great desserts and very friendly staff.
Great for birthday celebrations if you want to talk and have meaning conversations.
Not a party spot. Take your date there if you want to show off
