Reviews
Great restaurant. The selection of food was awesome the staff was helpful and attentive. The lavas was nice. I would order a bit more crispy next time. The humus was nice but nothing crazy spectacular. The red lentil soup was so good. I could have made a meal with that and the lavas. The Shepard salad with beef Shis Kabob was plentiful and filling. Paying extra for Feta cheese was different for this type restaurant but was plentiful and tasty. Wish I live near one of their locations. Will be back to visit when in the area.
Hands down the most DELICIOUS. restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service was exceptional. Our water was so professional, kind and passionate. You really feel the love and heart that goes into the food and I will definitely be going back. My family and I loved it we shared a bunch of the dishes and they were all insanely delicious. Wow. Truly blown away by how good it was.
Mmmm, service was good… but food was average and pricey. I had their house salad with chicken… the chicken was great… salad average. Blueberry mojito was nasty!! I’m a mojito aficionado and that was horrible. The lava bread was delicious… just get the bread…😒
The food here was ok, I was a bit underwhelmed with the dishes I got. The lamb tangine was ok, but was not that filling and the dumplings in our appetizer were a lot smaller than they traditionally are.
Mediocre Turkish food. The complementary bread and oil was the best thing we had. With suggestions from the waitress, We ordered:
Cigar bourek: pretty good. Good feta and the filo was nice and flaky.
Gyro plate : the meat is NOT FRESH and grilled in-house. I saw the boxes that it comes out of when leaving the restaurant. Do not recommend. The taste and texture is not pleasant.
Pepperoni pide: meat had a strange after taste. Only ate 1 piece of it and left the rest.
Adana kebab: decent but not worth ordering again. Only good entree we had.
We were not offered the tea which is supposed to be complementary.
Service was incredibly poor. Drinks were not refilled until we asked although there were waiters walking around, sitting in the booth near us talking and on the phone, and serving others. Noone stopped to ask how the meal was. We had leftovers which were thrown away. The atmosphere is lacking. The place doesnt look clean. We eat Mediterranean food in the US and abroad often and this doesn't stack up to any that I have had. Skip this and go to Med Deli.

What an experience. Truly authentic food with great atmosphere and service. The food was great and it would be memorable. Service is very friendly, attentive and quick. Portions are large and well made. Bosphorus Special is enough for 2 to 3 people very well. Rest is per person. All in all a great experience.
Very good food and soo delicious. The best of my life I eat this food. Thank you Istanbul restaurant thank you runners brothiska Hero.
Food was cooked to perfection, the mixed grill Kabob was juicy and had a pleasant charcoal grilled flavor.
Generous portions.
Fresh baked bread was a treat.
Must try if you are looking for Turkish/Middle Eastern food.

Eda and the team at Seven Hills have an incredible restaurant. My fiancé and I ate there on a summer evening. The Greek salad is insanely good with the perfect amount of dressing. The zucchini pancakes were the star of our appetizers, so light and unique! We then got the steak special and holy moly the lemon potatoes are something to write everywhere about. They complemented the sliced steak perfectly. Not to be outdone the pepperoni pide was CRAZY delicious. If you’ve made it this far in my review stop and just make a reservation already! Love seven hills and will be going back.
Amazing food! Great ambiance. Good service.
The oysters were some of the best. The branzino was cooked to perfection. Olives were delicious. Terrific food.

Delicious. Large portions. If you go alone, go hungry or be ready to bring food home. A little costly if compound drinks, apps, entree, and dessert. Come and try it. Come back if you have been already. Great small restaurant with wonderful staff and flavorful food. The only drawback, to me, was the Turkish hip hop music playing. A mellower choice would be preferred. Could still be Turkish, just not hip hop.
The most beautiful place I've ever been to. very hygienic and high quality. everyone is friendly Mike is quite friendly and willing to help. I will definitely come again.
Such a beautiful restaurant and the food was incredible. Our Greek salad was so fresh and vibrant, octopus was the perfect texture, and the grilled branzino was so flavorful! I loved the plating on everything, such a nice touch. We also got the Merguez Pide which was nice and crispy but I think next time, we’ll try other flavors - it wasn’t as punchy as we expected. The Persian Blue beer was the perfect compliment to the food too!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to actually taste meat, modern Greek/Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants in general are throwing and insane amount of seasoning to make up for the lack of flavor.. it’s not the case of this restaurant.
I ordered the super mixed grill which comes with an extra lamb chop.
Oh and the Pide ? I took the lamb chunks and oh boy, delicious !

Food is never ready when ordering ahead for takeout. Be prepared to be told it's almost ready and then wait 15 minutes, even when it is empty. Very small seafood and vegetarian selection. No vegan. Food is pricy, but usually very good. No free bread. Despite owner response, 4 visits and never offered or given complimentary pita bread.
Came here with some friends to celebrate over dinner and had an absolutely amazing feast. We started off with the chickpea fries and their manti, shared their "hearbreaker" dorade and shortribs for our mains, and splurged on almost the entire dessert menu. The service was absolutely fantastic; friendly, accommodating, informative, and attentive. The food was delicious, with everything being full of flavor. The dorade was especially amazing; savory with a tangy sauce and cooked to perfection. The short rib was tender and played against the eggplant really well. The turkish donuts weren't sweet as you'd expect from something made with chocolate but still absolutely delectable anyway, and the baklava story, especially with the ice cream, was the perfect ending to the meal. Absolutely amazing experience; would come back for another splurge.
This place is great. Nice ambiance inside with decorated walls. They have outdoor seatings available. The beef kebab is pretty good but not the lamb kebab. You will get complementary bread pieces in the beginning. Their service is reasonably fast although I felt like the restaurant is a little bit overpriced.
Nicely decorated and spacious restaurant serving fresh and flavorful turkish dishes (and pizza). The lamb chops are juicy, tender and flavorful. The mango margarita is sinfully delicious. Service is good.
Excellent food and excellent service. I haven’t eaten at a Turkish restaurant before and this was just an all around great experience. Service was excellent. I believe we had the manager as our waiter and he was so friendly so nice and so informative. Explained to us what he liked from his country (Turkey) and all his recommendations were excellent. Every dish was delicious and the Turkish ice cream was different and excellent, it’s extra gooey. Highly recommend a visit. Such a beautiful space.
Amazing Turkish food!!!! At first we thought the prices were a bit high but when we got served, we were pleasantly surprised by the portions and how delicious the food was. The service was also great, they give you delicious bread to start and we highly recommend trying their hummus.
We ordered 3 meals to go around 8:45 pm last week. The french fries were terrible and the gyro meat was very dry. We did not enjoy this food at all and will not go back. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that they were close to closing but still paid for food we feel should have been good.
Absolute gem, I went here solo during a business trip and the meal was fantastic. Cocktails, appetizer, entrée, dessert and tea were all delicious. The dorade fish was some of the best white fish dish I’ve ever had. The service was perfect. Overall definitely worth the price tag, would highly recommend!
It was very delicious. Everything was fine and I felt comfortable. You would love the foods. Our server was Harun. He served so good and he was so nice person. Thank you Istanbul Market :)
Loved it. Sat outside and enjoyed the rain. The chicken shish kebab was killer. Puffed pastry was the best. Called and let the manager know, I was going to be 45 minutes late, and she was very accommodating. 👨🍳 💋 Instagram: @holycityhost
Came all the way from fayetteville with my husband and it was so worth the drive. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Food was amazing , everything was so fresh and the meats were juicy and tender. We will be back for sure .
Incredible meal from start to finish! Every single dish was outstanding. As vegetarians this restaurant is basically a goldmine of delicious options. It was hard to not order the entire menu as everything sounded amazing.
We started out with the nutty, savory and slightly sweet Muhammara spread. I loved how light the toast was, you could really appreciate the texture and flavors of the spread. Next we tried the Veggie Pide, which ended up being pleasantly light and smaller than I thought. Loved how thin and crispy the dough was. The veggies really shined.
Next we tried the Beet Carpaccio, which was not only a beautiful dish but by far the best beet dish I’ve ever had! Loved how thin the beets were and the balls of goat cheese were heavenly which all paired so well with the zesty arugula salad on top. It was everything I didn’t know I wanted in a beet salad.
Lastly we tried the Vegetarian Manti (the only picture I got because I was too busy enjoying the food) and wow! I didn’t think the meal could get any better but it did. This dish was absolutely transportive. The velvety eggplant filled pasta topped with a smoky yogurt sauce just melted in your mouth. The tangy sumac and fresh parsley added so much depth. If I had to pick a last meal this would 110% be it.
Not only is the food out of this world (and country) the cocktails were amazing too. They were all very well-balanced and perfectly boozy. We tried the Pistachio Mud Heaven for dessert which was like eating a big, nutty, lightly sweetened shredded wheat cake that paired so well with the creamy, chewy icecream. We ended the meal with a couple glasses of Turkish Tea which was the perfect bitter, earthy follow up to dessert.
All in all, we can’t wait to go back and bring friends here so we can order more of menu. And when the temperatures warm up we’ll definitely want to dine in their charming back garden area.

My first time to have Turkish food here. They will serve you with fresh nice breads when waiting for your food coming. Baklava was delicious, not sweet. Staff working here are very friendly.
Went for their lunch special, where you get a 3 course meal for under $30. Lamb was so delicious 😋. We will definitely be back for more!
Chicken pide was good would definitely recommend anyone to try it for sure 4/5
Didn’t liked the lamb pide 2/5
Adana kabab was just fine but it was definitely not spicy at all as mentioned in their menu disappointed about that 3/5
Sigara boregi was good 4/5
Rice pudding was just ok 2/5
Turkish tea was good but if you have a sweet tooth then you might have to add at-least four sugar packs in it like i did, 4/5

Great mediterranean restaurant. The falafel and hummus platter was good and so did the chicken skewers. The Ceasar salad was not great and tasted a bit funky (I think they added mustard to the dressing which was not going well). The best part of the meal was the walnut and peppers spread, which was just amazing. The fresh bread served on the side was also good. All in all this is a recommended place for greek / mediterranean food.
Absolutely the best Doner I’ve had in years. Great service by very friendly (and helpful) server. Awesome selection of AUTHENTIC food.
Diverse, tasty menu of Turkish fare. Even those not used to Mediterranean food will find many options here! Outdoor and indoor seating, lovely decor, friendly servers. We especially enjoyed the fried zucchini pancakes, chicken kabobs and Turkish fries (w/Feta cheese, parsley). Good value for the area.
Really good spot for some Turkish cuisine. The fresh lavas they bring out is a must try! Crunchy and delicious. We went as big group and their service was fast and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
Great Turkish food! Def would come back again. Would get the chef bread with hummus spread and mixed meat platter. Very juicy!
Also this place is pet friendly! Brought out poodle here and the waitir brought out a bowl of water for him. Very sweet staff. A +!

Good food but a bit on the bland end when it comes to taste and the spiciness or may be I'm just used to eating a lot of spicy food.
Great customer service and well prepared food, steak was cooked to perfection, the appies platter were tasteful and well designed.
Priced reasonable and a must try for everyone, next time I will ask my food to be make a bit Spicer.

A small place with great tasty Mediterranean food. There’s not a lot of space inside but it feels a cordial and cozy environment. The menu gives you a lot of options, I chose beef kofte over rice. The food felt freshly made and delicious. The service is fast and the staff is super friendly. I’d definitely go back to eat here again. PS. There’s a municipal parking lot two blocks away.
