Sacramento Urgent Care

The staff of this urgent care were kind, thorough, and efficient. We came in to get imaging done for my fiance after he fell on his foot. They had an x-ray technician staffed even though it was a Sunday (they mentioned they have them there every day), and his Anthem insurance was accepted. We had a great experience overall.

The only thing knocking it down one star was the COVID mitigation practices in place. Though all staff wore masks, they were "baggy blue" surgical masks rather than N95 or KN95 respirators, and they were not fully covering mouth and nose of all of the staff. Additionally, there was poor airflow and no HEPA filters in the building. If they increase their mitigation practices to ensure no respiratory illnesses can be passed from patient to patient or practitioner to patient, I would consider it a 5 star experience!

We brought our toddler to this urgent care during cold winter season. He had ear infection along with other symptoms. The doctor, nurses, and assistants efficiently helped us. We were there for less than an hour despite we had no appointment. Thank you for the convenient business hour, and Thank you very much for being so kind to our little one.

I used to come here and get help for whatever, but lately I’m not sure what’s going on with them. The nurses are amazing, but the doctors act like they don’t want to help anyone. I come in with proof of things going on, and they don’t care. My son is EXTREMELY sick and when I asked for antibiotics the doctor said (I’m going to give them only because I know you’ll get very mad if I didn’t) as if she knew me etc. like I’m sorry but you seen my son very sick and had the nerve to talk to me that way? It’s okay for doctors to come at us rude, but we can’t be frustrated back? Yeah, I’m never coming here again, they make you feel like something you’re not. The doctors don’t help anyone so not sure why they work there. The female doctor, just wow, all I can say. Never again will I step foot into this place.

I visited Carbon health in May 2022. Then a week ago in October 2023. I received an email stating that they were going to charge me $399 for a visit from back in May 2022. You cannot get a hold of them through any of their phone numbers and I tried going into the office and they told me that they could not help me. I’ve talked to my insurance and this is definitely wrong but there’s no way to fix it and the big problem is that they sent me the email saying they were going to charge my card one week from the date. They sent the email giving me no time to come up with the funds or even dispute it I ask the front desk person at the clinic how long the turnaround is for an email complaint and she said two weeks! This is extremely unprofessional. My copay is only supposed to be $15.

I went in for an X-Ray and there was a mixup to where I could not be seen. It has something to do with my health plan needing authorization prior to being seen.
I went to my vehicle and called my health plan provider to sort things out. It appears I was correct and after the health care provider informed the urgent care center, I was able to be seen without an authorization.
The medical assistant was very friendly in getting my vitals.
In summary, it took 2 hours from the moment I walked in the door and walking out the door for an X-Ray. If you don’t have a lot of time, it may be better to come here after work and not during your lunch time.

By far the worst service in the front desk. The girls have the kind of attitude that tells me they don't apriciate being employed. Not to mention they talk about their personal life in front of patients. I called 10:19am to see where my meds were sent to only to be put on long holds. I had to hang up both times because the hold was ridiculous. I called back :6:30pm and no answer. What's going on? People need assistance that requires you ladies doing your job. I get work gets hectic but no excuse not to do your job properly. If you can't handle it maybe look in to a different carrer. I'm so disappointed

I had a health issue where my face swelled up enormously out of nowhere and I had no clue why, but was having a lot of difficulty eating and drinking. I came to Sacramento Urgent Care despite some negative reviews and was treated quickly and with respect. The staff all did their best, they were courteous and kind, and in the end I was prescribed antibiotics that have been successful in treating my condition. Some of the other reviews reflect problems with the front desk, and with the wait time. I had no issues with the front desk, and given that it's an urgent care, longer wait times are to be expected. The service I received was fantastic and, should I need urgent care in the future, this is the office I will be coming to.

Was absolutely horrified the way I was treated at the front desk of this urgent care. This girl at the desk refused to give me her name was rude disrespectful and even threatened to refuse care for my daughter after I had already paid for the service. Since she wouldn’t give me her name I took her picture hopefully someone else has gotten her name so I can file a formal complaint because she has no business interacting with the public. I spoke with the manager who stated she’s working on trying to get her removed from the front but she needs to be reprimanded. The manager admitted to receiving several other complaints about this employee and if that was the case I would have fired her a long time ago. She talked to me like I was a child no respect for someone older than her. The staff in the back however nurses and physicians assistant were so professional. It’s sad that someone in the front is ruining it for everyone.
