Very nice modern hotel with very varied breakfast where we spent 6 nights. However, we encountered many problems:
no connecting rooms offered (despite a reservation well in advance), closing at 4 p.m. of the swimming pool for children (which immediately excludes the well-being of families),
a morning, the cleaning lady woke us up at 8:00 a.m.,
no bike service (you have to rent a bike elsewhere and park it across the street),
many construction noises during the day,
response from reception very random phone calls,
spa: some exclusively nudist areas,
inefficient air conditioning (we were hot despite noisy ventilation in forced operation),
no detangling hair conditioner,
only one restaurant and too small which requires reservations,
bar: no enough places in the hall to have a drink,
luggage service not respecting the timetables (while a train was waiting for us),
concierge service often deserted but we were advised by the doorman,
garden terrace on the courtyard side poorly maintained,
bottles of water, hot drinks and excessively expensive room service compared to the quality (see photo).
Finally, we have the impression that foreign families on long stays are neglected compared to Germans who stay for less time.

Huge hotel close to bus stop. Good connection to city centre. Comfy beds but mattresses were sliding of the bed base. Breakfast (€15) great choice, really good. Room air-conditioned but any other locations too hot.
Great hotel in a lovely part of Berlin. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. 10 mins walk from Berlin Zoo and also right by lots of amazing shops. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in Berlin.
It's an NH so it's not awful but it is the worst NH I have stayed at. There is always a disgusting cloud of smoke in the hotel entrance. You can't get a coffee on the morning for love nor money (no staff) unless you pay €25 for breakfast. Rooms are super dated and broken in places but the bed is fine. Basic basic business. Room was good value.
I really don't know how to describe this hotel. Although I arrived late and an error occurred during the booking process, three days before my arrival, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them all for this interesting stay. The room It was very comfortable and there was everything I needed. It was a successful experience and I wish I could come back to Berlin to stay in your hotel.
Perfect hotel experience. Rooms are large, very clean ,well equipped, including well stocked complimentary mini fridge, shower with great flow and plenty of hot water, large comfortable bed, and GREAT LOCATION! We opted for the breakfast and glad we did because it was good quality with a plentiful selection of foods. The restaurant for dinner is excellent as well, and the rooftop bar is a great way to begin the evening.
We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Berlin. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, although the check-out process was a longer than wishful in our case.
When not having booked by credit card, you can expect a slightly less efficient checkin and out.
We did however got a free upgrade to a superior room, which was incredibly tidy and well located within the rather large building.
We haven't eaten there as we wanted to check local places for both lunch and diner, but the restaurant looked very good for as far as we could tell.
Overall I would consider returning to this hotel.

Great hotel with amazing location, rooms which are very spacious, well equipped definitely to the 5* hotel standard.
Additional extra good thing about this hotel is rooftop bar, restaurant and perfect spa with rooftop swimming pool!
Staff is very attentive and kind here!
Will be back at this hotel during next visit of Munich.

The Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin offers a comfortable and modern stay in the heart of the city. The rooms are well-appointed and clean, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hotel's central location makes it convenient for exploring Berlin's attractions, and the nearby public transportation options are a plus. While the staff is generally friendly, there is room for improvement in terms of their level of cordiality. Some guests have suggested that better training could enhance the overall guest experience. Moreover, there have been instances where room service and housekeeping took longer than expected, even after multiple reminders. This aspect of the service could benefit from more efficient and timely attention. Despite these points, Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin is a solid choice for travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Berlin.
Close to main station, excellent front desk service. It’s a convenience hotel of an average standard. Room was on a small side, but I was there for one night, so no issue. Clean and tidy, breakfast was okay. 15 mins walk to the old town.
I am lucky through work and leisure to stay at many high end hotels. My recent stay at the Kempinski in Munich stood out among all the hotels I have stayed at for its excellence in all areas of hospitality. The staff were kind, attentive and anticipating our every need. The restaurants were superb and the local wine was perfect with our meal. Do not skip breakfast because it is a sumptuous spread. Rooms were well appointed and the hotel is grand and elegant. I can’t wait to go back!
Great location to shops and restaurants.
I definitely recommend this hotel for your Munich stay.
Also we loved the BMW I7 that the hotel give to us for a joyride!

Excellent location, spacious rooms with very nice bathrooms, stocked minibar and welcome drink, great food at restaurant. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.
The rooms have everything you need and nothing more. A bed and a bathroom.
If you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, you'll soon run out of things to do. There's a bar with comfortable surroundings, a sauna and gym as well.
The breakfast area is a bit chaotic when busy - it is recommended you go early to avoid having to wait for everything.
The service is good and very attentive, but the self-check-in system is a bit iffy and requires assistance from the staff.

Hotel Adlon Berlin's historical prestige as a prominent city landmark was what initially drew us to consider them for our event. However, our experiences with their event management team were regrettably far from the standard one might expect from such an establishment.
A recurring attitude we encountered was underscored by the repeated phrase, "But we are Adlon!" This sentiment, which seemed to suggest that the hotel's name alone should outweigh all other considerations, was troubling. In addition, there was a clear discrepancy between the offerings detailed in their brochure and the services described by the event management team. Such inconsistencies are concerning, especially for an institution that prides itself on luxury and professionalism.
To address our concerns, we took the step of sending our feedback directly to the responsible event manager via email, hoping for a constructive dialogue. Disappointingly, our communication went unanswered.
It's essential to emphasize that Berlin boasts several luxury establishments, and while Adlon is undoubtedly among the well-known five-star hotels, customer service and professionalism remain paramount. Our decision to seek another venue wasn't financially driven; in fact, we invested more elsewhere for superior service and an overall more gratifying experience.
It's our sincere hope that Hotel Adlon sees this feedback not as criticism for criticism's sake, but as an opportunity to refine their services and align with the standards their legacy demands.

Location is perfect, near the main tourist attractions. Service is generally nice and efficient, and the rooms are OK, comfortable but not outstanding, in my room for instance the light for a small mirror didn’t work. Also it is a bit uncomfortable to have to climb stairs with luggage when you are in 3rd floor. Nothing important, anyway.
Check in was good. Room was ice cold, very basic, English speaking channel for park info had no picture and one of the face towels was covered in blood (washed and folded but still heavily stained) staff were friendly but clearly working none stop. Sis not reserve a table in the evening as didn't know what time we would eat. Could not find place for two people.. strange how there is room for everyone at breakfast without having to reserve. Ended up driving out of town to find something. Reserve a table in Hotel or a restaurant nearby. They are all full on a Saturday night. It's saving grace is its closeness to the park.
A nice stay in Berlin, close to bus and metro stations. The rooms are large, nice and clean. The fact that an average of 500 people have breakfast every day is hardly noticeable. And should the shore be a bit crowded with people, Despina and her colleagues will make sure you have a big smile at breakfast.
### Rooms ###
+ Clean, comfortable beds, sofa bed, closet, safety box, TV, nice theme!
+ We are 5 people with a connecting kids room (bunk bed) well organized.
### Toilet ###
+liquid hand soap, body wash, vanity kit, nail filer , towels provided
- missing shampoo/conditioner/moisturizer
### Service ###
Everything was great except that we are 5x people so why provide only 2x water bottles (350ML)?!!
Also when asking the receptionist for more bottles, she refers us to a vending machine.
### Location ###
+ The hotel is connected with other hotels to form a colosseum shape. Centered with ground fountains that light up with music at night and becomes a nice outdoor area for kids in the morning. I plan to try out the other hotels in my next visit to compare.
- Weekend is fully booked. I’m glad I made my reservation in advance.

What an amazing hotel, I came to stay for two nights after a business trip and the hotel is clean, tidy and the rooms are to a very very high standard, the hotel itself is beautiful with lovely interiors and the staff are extremely helpful. I will definitely return again if I visit Munich! Thanks team.
The front desk consistently says that the hotel is fully booked "several weeks ahead" and that there are no available rooms with king-size beds. Which is of course absolutely not true. The rooms with king-size beds are reserved for those who book rooms from the hotel's own website for more expensive money. Those of you who book your rooms via the big booking sites such as bokning.com or hotels.com can forget about sleeping in a large room with a king-size bed. The reception forces you into a tiny room with a 90-bed.
Quiet area, with a really nice park around the corner. The metro is right nexdoors, and it is 1 stop from main train station, 3 stops to city center.
The hotel itself is a very spacious, big lobby and breakfast area. Funny glass lift :)
Rooms are nice, good bathrooms with bath. Only minus was tha aircon was not possible to switch off, not even put on low fan. It kept going back to "auto," so the air could be pretty strong and cold. Breakfast was good. Is it possible to park underground.

Think twice before booking this hotel! WARNING: not 5-star service
My wife and I were very excited to stay at the famous Adlon hotel! Having stayed at Kempinski brands globally, we expected top notch service.
We were greatly disappointed, for the following reasons:
-hotel staff checked us out 2 days early “by accident” which led to us being chased out of the hotel by bar staff accusing us of not paying (HUMILIATING!) not to mention the room keys stopped working
-hotel lost a portion of our laundry
-no air conditioning in the room, was at least 80 degrees. Staff sent a electrician which only made it worse
-mediocre breakfast
-they don’t refill the minibars
Overall, if you’re looking for 5 star service and a luxury hotel, do NOT stay here.
Instead of offering us an upgrade or a refund, they sent chocolates to the room and told us they’d take care of us if we book again for the future.
Trash.

Extremely nice and helpful front desk. Terrific location and delicious restaurant downstairs. Can't wait to check out the terrace bar tonight
The room was really small but clean with a comfortable bed. The girl from the reception was super helpful and the breakfast was good!
A very nice hotel. In town for 1 night and stayed here for the location and the early start. The reception staff offered us champagne on check-in, a lovely gesture.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff also including special requests. The restaurant has a great breakfast including a custom egg menu.
The lobby has a beautiful ceiling and is a popular meeting spot for both guests and visitors.
Not that we had time to check the street out due to time but from what we could see, it's a fashion centric strip.
Hope to return on our next visit to Munich.

Your hotel search is over, this is the BEST DEAL in Berlin! This hotel was excellent in every way. The restaurant and gym were fantastic and even better; the guest services.
I won’t stay anywhere else on future trips to Berlin. Stay here you won’t regret it.

Great hotel and location. Easy parking for your car. Breakfast was great and friendly staff. We stayed at the 13 floor, so the view was nice. Rooms are comfy and nice. A bit dusty in some areas but hey if that's all?
Nice place to stay, clean and well organised hotel. Although there is no fridge in the rooms. It is close to some of the main museums in the city and near a stop of S-Bahn8 which you can use to get to the airport
I would like to share the worse experience my father had in the hotel. He stayed for 4 days and on the last day of his stay, he went for breakfast and he left his wallet in the room. When he came back he took it and the suitcase and while being on the train back from Munchen, he realized he was robbed over 500€. This happened while he went for breakfast as he has the wallet, his IDs etc. I have called the hotel immediately, the receptionist picked up, completely rude to tell me he has no time I should just write an email. I called 5 minutes later, another receptionist picked up, I asked for the manager name and he said he is not available but they will get back to me on Monday. I wrote email, left my phone number, no reply since, nothing. Shame on this kind of behaviour, shame on the services you offer, will never return to this chain of the hotels ever again as a family and I promise you we travel a lot and I make sure I will notify also all my colleagues around the world as I work for big company to make sure the words spreads what sort of 4 star hotel you are!
The hotel is located in a the down town. Most of the shopping stores are near. The food is fine and the servers is very good. The staff are friendly. The people on concierge are very helpful and knowledgeable too. I highly recommend a visit.
Visited last Tuesday, a really great hotel if I had to pick two things out, one was reception was a great team very welcoming helpful and professional. The second was the care with which room service was handled. Everything else was as you expect from a top hotel, top service is not always there these days, top marks for this hotel
Hotel is locate next to the munich central station. Tourist can take the train or Express airport bus arrival hotel. It is very easy to find hotel. Hotel had a good service they will take care what you are request and send email to you 1 day before arrive to reconfirm what you need. Hotel room is clean and suggest book the room with view. Breakfast is declious and many choice of food and drink . You can drink sparking wine and water in the breakfast. Staff is always welcome you .
Nice place in the center of Munich, we were at an event with the possibility to dinner. Very high quality and very luxurious. A bit expensive 😉 (one bottle of water 14 euros). Dishes were excellent quality. Ambience and service quality top.
Glacial service in the ground floor bar for lunch. Three staff for six covers - chef gets the blame for sandwiches taking 45 minutes to appear. They’re all very apologetic, and everyone was very nice to everyone but this is wholly unacceptable for the reputation of the hotel, and especially in the context of the prices charged. Genuinely, I’d have eaten just as well with a Rewe meal deal.
This is a fantastic hotel in a fantastic city. I loved it. I had a nasty bleeding ingrown toe nail that had been bothering me on and off during my Germany trip. I asked the receptionist where a hospital/clinic was. He printed off the address as well as contacted the cab and he helped greatly in this situation. I am in their debt in that way, very happy and grateful. The room was also fantastic, 5 stars
The staff is super friendly the one saving grace. The rooms are old and outdated and are insanely hot air conditioning is a joke or completely broken. The rooms design also prevents absolute any air from flowing from the window that opens 2 centimeters max. Lastly cars drive by way too fast at night preventing any sleep.
This is a really good hotel - and amazing value. Don’t judge a book by its cover - inside the concierge, restaurant and breakfast areas are very spacious, well decorated and clean. Great places to work from, chill and the best breakfast buffet I have ever had. Generous place. Highly recommend!
Very easy hotel to book and visit for an American that has not been to Germany before. Check in / out is done via a kiosk that has selectable languages. All the staff seem to speak at least some English. The rooms were very nice especially for the price compared to hotel rooms in the US. The shower was my favorite part as the water pressure and flow were amazing, the best I have ever experienced. The food at the hotel restaurant was also good at very reasonable prices, the selection wasn't massive though. The atmosphere at the hotel restaurant was also nice and the staff was responsive. (Although sometimes the table ordering app wasn't working so you would have to get up and order at the bar).
The only real complaint I have is the AC never got the room quite as cool as I would have liked for sleeping. The beds also only have a duvet and no top sheet, not sure if that is standard practice in the area but it did contribute to being a bit too warm during sleep.
I'd come back but I would bring my own sheet to cover up a bit but not get too hot at night.

A functional modern hotel that is part of the Motel One chain.
This one's key advantage is its close proximity to downtown Munich and still it is situated in a quiet residential area at the edge of a park on the bank of a small river.
It has 9 floors with 40 rooms each and yet you can't feel the size. Our room was quite tight with not enough space to properly unpack but OK for a short stay.

I was not expecting to be staying at this hotel but after a very difficult incident at a different hotel I enquired about booking a room as I was feeling really u safe about what had happened. Te staff are exceptional the service just brilliant and I was very distressed when I arrived and even the doorstaff had tissues on hand this hotels staff and service is what makes it so very special. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I shall definitely be booking a stay with the kemplinski group worldwide, rooms and hotel is classically undertsated elegance and quality. Highly recommend
Wonderful stay here.
Staff were truly amazing and went the extra mile with any request.
Rassul, Phil, Claudio and Ahmet were worthy of special mention.
Beautiful rooftop bar was lovely to chill and have a drink.
Breakfast plentiful and tasty.
We ate here a couple of times amd the food was excellent quality.
We can't recommend this place highly enough!!
Danke!!!

I didn't stay here, just needed a place to work for a couple of hours and used the lobby of Motel One. Very nice staff, had a toast and a coffee for a reasonable price. The WiFi connection was strong and it kept up with my online meetings.
We made reservations for Afternoon Tea here in late June and the experience was most memorable. First of all, big kudos on the training given to staff. Anna Wagner was our hostess and she was amazing. So warm and welcoming and happy to answer our questions about the various teas. Being vegetarian we went for the "Strawberry Afternoon Tea". We kicked off with a delicious Rosè Champagne. We were then presented with a menu of teas. And this is the brilliant part, you don't have to choose just one, if you so wish you could sample them all! It was the most extensive collection of teas I have come across. While there were too many to go through them all, we did try 5 or 6 different varieties and the flavours were unique. Next time I'm in Munich in 100% going back here to sample the rest!
The sweet and savoury dishes served with the tea were world-class. Extensive use of local ingredients and flawless presentation combine with moreish flavours.
Hands down the best Afternoon Tea service I have experienced anywhere.

Always busy, packed with visitors and tourists. Breakfast was splendid with the Brandenburg Tor view. Most of the staffs were friendly and kind, always helpful.
The room was spacious, comfortable and nice. Furnitures looked new and clean. However, they were NOT generous in providing rooms with basic things such as slippers, daily new towels and tissues. Every time I had to contact them for bringing these stuffs to my room, and even sometimes they refused to bring and they said that they don't have it! That was very uncomfortable for me!
Really nice place in a quiet area. Very good breakfasts. The rooms are really clean but a little bit claustrophobic. After opening the suitcase, there is not much space left in the room.
A friend and I visited the spa here, and it is feeling past its best. Let's be honest, this place trades on its location, and whilst that location is special, it needs to do more to maintain its reputation.
The check-in was slow, and the area was disorganised. We booked a table on arrival for lunch in the Blue Spa, but they didn't actually make the reservation, when we turned up there was no place available for us.
The outside area has wooden boards that aren't fixed securely (possibly rotten?) it needs an overhaul. Inside there are many tiles missing on the swimming pool. The state of the pool is very disappointing, as the open-air pool is the main draw, Other than a small sauna area, and a couple of treatments rooms, there are no premium spa facilities to speak of. Hence the 2 stars.
The spa staff, were friendly enough, This is supposed to be a destination hotel in Munich, but the service and upkeep fall short of what is expected for a 5* venue. At this price point there is not enough to recommend a return visit.

The rooms are too small. There was no wardrobe olin my room! Just a short rack. The air conditioner worked quite bad, and the ventilation in the bathroom hardly worked at all! It was always too hot in the bathroom.
The rooms and the bathroom are clean and neat though.
And all the personelle is really kind and nice.

Rooms a bit on the smaller side but adequate for what they are intended for. Great location to walk about and check out the local restaurants and bars. Shopping a plenty as well if you so desire.
For a 4 star hotel, NH collection München really outdid themselves with its impeccable service, convenient location and elegant rooms. There was absolutely nothing to complain about during our stay at NH. The location is so very convenient for tourists as we only had to walk to see old town and the main sights in the city. I would like to thank Ms. Farah at the reception for her warm welcome and for considering our room preferences. Mr. Yousafzai at the lobby was very attentive to guest needs and we owe him for making our stay at NH even more memorable. Overall, the rooms were immaculately clean and so were the bathrooms with various amenities provided. Great view from the room was the cherry on top! Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Munich!
Fabulous, clean, well located hotel. Super central. You can walk to all the major tourist sites. There is a tram stop outside with great connections or you can grab an S-Bahn from the main square in a 5 minute walk. A lovely touch was having the mini bar included in our stay which was replenished every day! We also received one free drink each on the roof top terrace/ bar. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and would recommend staying here:)
I checked in at 16:00 and saw that the air conditioning was already on. However, it was warmer inside the room than outside. I disregarded it and went out to be back at 23:00 to the same state of the room. After giving it so many hours and the dial at maximum, it made no difference. I called the reception and they said they'll call me back with a solution and then no call was made back even though I waited for the call for about 20 minutes. Instead of wasting my time with the reception who did not even respect me to call back, I just opened the window for better circulation and had to sleep with the noise from the outside.
Additionally, the next morning when going to the gym, I realized what a bad state it's in. With about 3 cardio machines and half a set of free weights, it was just there for the sake of it and not taken care of. I even went down personally to ask them to refill the water supply at the gym and they said they would do it. 2 hours later, still nothing.
The respect to the customer is not given at all. I was contemplating switching to the NH group for regular business travel, but now, that's definitely not happening.

Very well placed. Not further than 3 minutes from railway station, near city public transport (tram, bus, underground).Only 20 minutes away from city center.
Inside the Japanese quarter, near Asian food restaurants and shops.
I liked its chilling terrace and the comfy lounge.
Good buffet.
Nice rooms. Clean.Comfortable bed. Silent.
The best:their staff. Nice and diligent people.
I will repeat.

Just pick a modern hotel somewhere else. When we got here the room wasn't ready even though we showed up an hour after check in time. No problem, we could leave our bags and go do something else. When we came back we still couldn't check in easily. The employees were not out to help. They don't have a traditional front desk. They have a self service check in and a couple kiosks. After 10 minutes we found the room the employees were sitting in and were able to get bags and room keys. The room was clean, but pretty miserable to be in. It was very hot and the a/c barely blows any air and often times out and turns off. We were lucky that the windows open up to allow some airflow. I'd cool off with a cold beverage, but the fridge also doesn't cool the drinks. If you come in the winter maybe this place will be more suitable. I'd look elsewhere for comfortable accomodations.
Lovely hotel, had a top floor room with an amazing view of the city. Room was clean, modern and well kept when out, with clear instructions on what to do to get clean sheets and towels etc. staff were friendly, helpful and readily available when needed. Would definitely return.
Really great hotel that we had underestimated. This was the last hotel of our trip and we didn't put much though into it. It turned out to be one of our favorite places and we plan to stay here next time we're in Munich. They provide free mini bar (water, coke, and some beer) that is refilled once daily as well as all the regular amenities we've come to expect in most hotels (basic toiletries, hair dryer, safe, etc). The bed was very comfortable! I wasn't in love with the pillows, but they were fine. The location was really convenient to walk or take a train everywhere we wanted to go. It's a less than 10 minute walk to Marienplatz so there's plenty of dining options available, but the restaurant on property is completely worth going to. They also had blackout blinds which were a delightful surprise the morning we wanted to sleep in. Enjoy!
Hotel for business meetings without Internet and air condition. There is no internet connection in rooms and meeting rooms, same story with air condition. Even hard to imagine.
Staff on plus, very nice and helpful.

I stayed five days in this hotel.
Despite I had ‘Do not disturb’ sign hung on the door, room cleaning service had tried to barge in. It was around 10 am and these people didnt even say sorry but tried to call their head staff; I think her name was ‘Mara’.
Frankly, I was surprised and shocked at the first time, but I got used to it on my third, and I didnt even bother to put on my clothes when it happed on the last day.
Even though, I had endured and mastered a valuable lesson, I would not recommend this to other friends.

We are still staying in the hotel, the rooms are so hot, my kids are sweeting, it looks like that there is no air conditioning on the rooms.. i asked the reception for at least a fan and they told me it is not available..
overpriced hotel compared to the facilities available.. not recommended at all

Excellent stay. Great location walkable to many key sights and most of all the staff were excellent warm and welcoming. They were all fluent in English and very helpful during my stay. They also have complimentary prosecco at the rooftop bar, and the restaurant downstairs was excellent as well! Only tricky thing is the lift does not go to all floors (some floors need to walk a short flight of steps). But otherwise, very doable. I had a great time there!
Used to stay there a lot but service has been disastrous. The manager was super rude they didn’t serve breakfast to our friends. Definitely not the place to be unless you like stuffy rooms and arrogant staff. Go to Stue or Grand Hyatt way better these days!
The location is good but the surrounding area is dead at night. Possibly the most overrated hotel in Germany!

The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. The staff is very well trained and helpful. The location is excellent. The rooms, although a little dated, are in very good condition. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
I hate to type a review like this but we really did not have a great experience at Adlon Kempinski. Firstly, let me say that the staff were almost always excellent. The lobby and public areas are nicely kept. The breakfast buffet was great and had superb service and views. The actual stay, however was subpar.
We had a disappointing stay for the first two nights of a week long stay and the resolutions were not satisfactory. There happened to be a loud wedding at the Adlon that evening. A Lamborghini was revving its motor, horns of many cars honking and loud music. I understand how a wedding is a special moment so we closed the window and decided to go have dinner and hope when we returned the wedding will have quieted down. It was our anniversary and I didn't want to highlight any of the problems in front of my wife. We went downstairs to have dinner and hope for the best. The dinner didn’t go well but I will leave that review with Quarre.
When we get back upstairs and we are preparing to sleep the wedding became much louder. I phoned the front desk at 1030 and asked them when the wedding was going to be over and he said they are schedule for 10pm! Oh well, I guess I have to be patient. It was a cold evening so I tried to turn on the heater but climate control panel did not work. I was so tired I just went under the covers to watch TV and try to sleep. I turned on the television and after only 5-10 minutes it would go black, and then reset itself. I could only laugh to myself. We are at the 5 star Adlon hotel with a terrible meal, cold room and no television! Welcome to Berlin! I phoned the front desk to see if there was something that could be done like resetting the TV or the heat but unfortunately, the only thing that could be done would be to send up a repair person. Since it was 11pm, on our anniversary we decided to sleep and try to forget the evening. At this point I asked to have the manager phone us the next day. We waited but did not get a call so I phoned down to explain the situation later in the morning. I was told that the person needed time to figure out a solution but at this point my wife asked if we could just please have another room that had everything working in it. There was damage and other minor issues with the room so I understood her request; she was starting to get disappointed as I. Later we were told that they did not have any other rooms available until the following evening but they would send someone up to repair our tv and heater and then upgrade us once a room was available. We waited and waited, never imagining it would have taken so long. Much to our surprise, the repair person did not arrive until 5pm that day! While I was waiting for the repair man, I began to notice the wear and tear in the room. The carpets and drapes had stains (see photos) the desk was badly damaged and the windows were dirty and very damaged. Then the gentleman was able to repair the items after rebooting the TV and reconnecting the temperature control. Unfortunately, the television stopped working about 5 minutes after he left. He had said that if his repair didn't work, they would need to replace the television. The temperature control did not heat the room about 1 hour after he left so we spend the second evening cold and without television for the second night. I really began to regret choosing the Adlon Kempinski. Even the next day, we had to wait until after 3pm to move to our other room. This was a much larger suite which my wife liked and so I stayed silent about the frustrations I had from staying here. The "lady in red" came to visit us during our breakfast and asked if we were satisfied, I said yes because we were in front of many people at the entrance and I didn't want to waste more of my vacation time discussing problems that were never resolved.
I am sorry for such a long response but I really feel that I was let down by Adlon Kempinski. I would have chosen another hotel since this one is so worn. Remember, we tried two rooms and both had serious damage and wear.

My wife and I stayed at a Premium Room with balcony. The room was good, I’d say average for a Premium Room but the balcony was full of doves, so many that we could only enjoy the balcony in the evening when it was dark and cold. The outside of the hotel is dirty and the location does not help very much as it is just outside of the train station
The worst of all was that my bouquet I ordered for my mother in law for her birthday was lost somewhere between the reception & the restaurant. They found it only next day only telling me that they were sorry. I stand in the restaurant with empty hands, what a shame!
The rooms have aged. The towels are not white and stiff. No fridge!!! And they ask 20Euro deposit in cash for each kids dressing-gown in the swimming pool. Who has cash nowadays?
We wouldn’t come again, neither recommend.

The third time I have stayed here on tour, really love the aesthetic of the remodeled rooms, completely different vibe, and who knew gray and beige everything could feel so amazing? I couldn’t stop looking at all the details around the room, also love the stone bathtub! Only shocker was €13 for a bottle of water, which I did not open.
Room had a bed, a kitchen and a desk which was great. But it could use a renovation. Looks like it was built 20 years ago and not touched, which is fine. It was clean and well maintained just not to my taste.
I would steer clear of the the restaurant and bar though.

Modern hotel in a very good location. Our stay was generally good in a modern well appointed room with a large comfortable bed. It was also quiet as we were on a high floor. It’s a shame that attention to detail from housekeeping lets the hotel down. When we arrived in the room the complimentary bottle of water had already been opened - not a good sign of general attention to detail and hygiene. Moreover the tv remote control was covered in dust. The in room fridge smelled as soon as we opened it and had orange coloured stains inside. The shower gel was allowed to run out after our first night. We got a replacement container from reception and changed it ourselves. At no point in the following days was the old empty container removed from the shelf in the shower area. A couple of other niggles included towels that are not if the quality or a size to be expected of a good 4 star hotel and the lack of a TV channel guide. Breakfast which we had included was quite good and varied .
Nice cozy and calm hotel. A little bit on the far side from city center but i had a car so that wasn’t an issue. Staff are polite, the payable snack bar in the lobby was a good option, a free coffee machine was a nice touch, LIDL and a gas station just across the street. Would stay there again if i visit Düsseldorf with a car. It is also a short drive from the airport.
First time in the NH hotel, I sent 10 nights here for work. The breakfast is amazing, the stuff is very helpful, rooms are very nice and the ones with a view can see the old town which is very cool. A few steps from the main train station and tons of places to go eat around the hotel.
The gym is tiny and not well ventilated, only cry about this because I like to workout when I travel.
Highly recommend

Nice hotel, conveniently located in front of train station and a 5 min walking to entrance of “tourist center” . Seems a region where you should be more careful but not necessarily dangerous.
About the hotel:
- great staff at check in and check out. Both were quite fast as well.
- room is nice, seems new or recently renovated. It’s beautiful. Small but not really small.
- shower is excellent but it wets the whole bathroom, despite the wetness it seems quite dangerous and someone can fell.
- conditioner is not good, bring your own if you need.
- we left our luggage stored before we left town and it was great and fast.

They advertised "air conditioned" rooms and the air conditioner is broken. After speaking to reception about the problem, they were only able to offer us to move rooms wich after unpacking 3-4 nights worth of luggage was not a practical outcome at almost 11pm. So besides false advertisement the room itself is pleasant enough other than the pillows. They are extremely soft and poor quality, I have had to buy pain killers to help my sore neck as they are very sub par. I also mentioned this to reception but I was just given another sub par pillow and told that was the best they could do. This is supposed to be a 4star hotel, the prices are 4star hotel prices so I wish to receive at bare minimum working air conditioning. When I check out later today. I will be demanding a partial refund to my stay and I will post an updated review based on whether or not I receive one. I certainly wouldn't recommend to others to stay here at this present moment After 3 nights incredibly poor sleep.
We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Upon arriving we requested a different room than the one which has been assigned to us, which was luckily taken care of quickly. The new room was spacious and in a better location for us, nevertheless both rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. We loved the pool area a lot.
I honestly wasn’t really impressed with this place. I struggled between a three and four star review based on the fact that the overall location was great and the breakfast on the 6th floor had beautiful views but the hotel was just ok. No one greeted us or helped us with our bags when we first pulled up and the “experience” credits we received were very restrictive. We could only eat at a certain restaurant with only 1 meal choice option and the meal we ate wasn’t very good which just isn’t acceptable with a 5 star hotel.
We loved staying at Santa Isabel and Bell Rock, but this was definitely not the hotel for us.
The location to the park, facilities and staff were good, but the room was not! The beds were so hard, even the kids woke up with back pain! We got extra blankets and pillows, but nothing helped. It was also really warm, the climate control wasn't working yet and the blinds were broken.
Next time it will be a different hotel for us!

Clean rooms and an expansive breakfast buffet (at a charge). Parking is available for €19. The staff is kind and check in was easy.
The room was not ready on time. We always waited a long time for food. Unfortunately, 50% of the time the order was incomplete and had to be reworked, which takes away a lot of the charm and flair. At the Sky Bar we were turned away without asking if we were hotel guests. Only when we went downstairs to the concierge did we get a table. No go!
We have been to some high class and 5-6 star places and are extremely disappointed in your property. We were not even asked at check out if we had a good stay!
Only the garage staff and concierge provided the best service. Everyone else clearly fails!
My recommendation to you: provide better service! Train your staff better or hire professional staff for such an ambience.
Food: The value for money is not right! You have to offer much more quality for the price!
Under the given circumstances the house does not deserve 5 stars!

Typical business hotel, not truly memorable but great value for money, good WiFi, very helpful and friendly staff and a great location.
Nice breakfast, maybe the best one of the parc so far. For lunch they have a good self service buffet too, we'll definitely come back !
The room was beautiful, the service was top notch, the breakfast was good and the location is great. I wouldn't say it's in the best part of town as there's a homeless shelter around the corner but other than that there's a general store next door and it's right across from the central station. Also the metro is like a stone throw away. It obviously comes at the price of being a bit noisy especially if your room is lower in the building. Overall my wife and I loved it and it was the best hotel we booked during our trip to Germany.
I first set foot in Adlon in 2012 and have been a regular ever since. I love the beautiful interior and the location is top. I also like to bring friends and guest to have tea in the lobby, and everyone is equally impressed. However, I can confirm what many reviews already said, which is that the service is not the best. Last time I ordered coffee and a cake, which they forgot. I had to remind them and even then it took ~30 more minutes to bring me a small piece of cake in a place that was not busy at all. So one less star for that. Overall amazing place to stay though.
Still my favorite hotel in Munich despite small service failures. Upon arrival, we discovered our room, while newly updated, was very dark & faced a construction site. Management was very helpful in finding us a new room, much brighter & with a better view, if less updated. We love both the main bar & the attached lounge areas, very beautiful & calming. Breakfast buffet was ample & service was sterling. All staff members were friendly. We did find that when we needed something less than major or had a small complaint, only a new (one month) to the hotel front desk person, followed through on our requests or complaints. She is a jewel & we sought her out on all approaches to the front desk.
But in general, I still love this hotel, its ambience, its amenities & its convenient location.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! I give a 5-star rating without any hesitation. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable, and I felt like I was truly being taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel and The Bar in particular to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.
Standard small rooms good for one person, business stays. The bar is open till late and you can get hot and cold drinks. Good WiFi and space to work. Location not the best but still reachable
Nice conversation hotel. Clean and minimal rooms, great breakfast buffet, nice facilities and helpful stuff. The only negative was that the heat to the rooms was at maximum 21oC, so it was a little bit cold (the hotel has no blame for that because it was government's order)
Great location and convenient for an early morning flight! Staff are very friendly and Jasmin was so helpful. Rooms are great, good quality bedding and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff are so friendly! Excellent service! 24 hour front desk staff, clean rooms and very good shower and very good wifi, as well.
My husband and I stayed here visiting friends in the city, the front desk staff were so welcoming and even gave us welcome/ goodbye drinks, will definitely stay here when you visit the city back!

Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you need, just a little dated in the room, although the sink and shower area had been renovated to modern standards. Nice hotel bar, can't comment on breakfast. The bed was very nice and comfortable. What let's this hotel down is the area it is in. Had to walk some distance to get to any decent restaurants. Walk in the wrong direction (not far) and its a bit of a dodgy run down area.
Very convenient location near the airport and the exhibition center. The rooms are quite spacious but look very minimal. Breakfast was good quality but every day the same. The cleaning was minimum acceptable
I only used the lobby/bar space to work for a few hours but I can't speak more highly. It is just a couple minutes walk from Dusseldorf Hbf. I asked could I work for a few hours and the gentleman at reception was very kind and said that was no problem at all - and gave me a key for the bathroom to keep as long as I needed (very clean bathroom too). The staff in the lobby/bar area were also very polite and smiling. I enjoyed a very nice cappucino and a toasted sandwich (very reasonable price of €5.90). Would highly recommend if looking for a place to work near the station - the tables have sockets underneath to keep laptop / phones charged. They have a huge gin menu if you manage to get there outside of work hours!
The location of the hotel ables you to enjoy great spots at a walking distance. A large varity of Asian restaurants, I wish I had tike to taste them all.
The hotel is very clean and well managed, from front desk to restaurant staff is detail oriented and very kind.
The breakfast gives a great kick to the day. (Large choice and all fresh)
A special thanks to Antonio, Soufyan and Taoufik their professionalism made me enjoy my business trip.
Staff compensated the coldness of the room by their great service. I did find the room tiny and souless, the inside was more or less like a Campus, without a caché, but staff made sure it was only a detail.
Keeping this hotel for upcoming business trips to Dusseldorf!
Danke

Three stars hotel with four stars price. Hotel doesn’t provide kettle in the room or hot water or drinking water in the lobby. Tap water tastes horrible. Check out is at 12pm but staff keep knocking your door from 9am onwards despite having do not disturb sign on the door.
Great Hotel the Motel One exists in almost all the major cities in Germany. They have a unique ambience to their interior design and most importantly they have friendly staff, very clean and good breakfast!
Very nice hotel where we stayed during Christmas vacation. Breakfasts were nice and ecologically oriented which adds up nicely. The only downside was the evening restaurant (the first one when you enter the hallway) : 7€60 for a 75cl of bottles water, no choice and food was really bad (acid, too much tomato, or vulgar)
==> the restaurant experience lowered by one star the overall rating.

a very nice atmosphere in the hotel. unfortunately the rooms (standard) are not quite as great as the rest around. for us it was a bit too dusty. we also had a small spot of mould in the bathroom. however, the staff in the hotel were all very friendly and explained things well or helped with questions, despite the stress.
All in all, the nights were rather restless, as there are a lot of families with children staying in this hotel. of course, you know that beforehand, as it is a hotel in an amusement park after all. unfortunately, the doors to the room are so sensitive that you can hear every child running through the corridor. and there are a hell of a lot of children.
For people who need peace and quiet, I would recommend a different hotel or a more superior room, because there you will have more peace and quiet.
